Hey Aussie Aussie Aussie. Not a bad effort at our slang Toit Boi. Lol. Cut the mustard, give ya that one. As for the slim beauty. Ah yeah yeah not. Never used it, don’t give a frog shit about it, but if some do....no wuckers, every one for their own little buddy. Sounds like it took more than a cut sandwich and a six pack to sort out the shit from the shovel. Your Toit knot is still the most consistent and strongest. I’ve been tying a few others and they are a few cards short of a deck. Gotta luv the new knot on the block. Get it inta ya and grab a brew n snag and happy days hey 🎣🎣👍
Hey Peter.... did you check your medication this morning you’re my 1st compliment at my Aussie impersonating.🤣😂 Thanks for the great message, kind words, made my day reading that so thank you. Agreed on Dl😉😉Slim Besuty.... I am hesitant with anything that’s got word clinch in it. A lot people like this knot, guess I gotta get testing it. As for Toit knot that thing really flies. It’s a ripper for sure, just need to get it out there for more to test. Glad you like it. Have a great Arvo, Tightlines.👍👍
Love the shortcut so much easier Thank you - however when i try the double braid (for extra strength) with a 6lb braid and 15lb fluro leader with the 8 up and 8 down it never tightens down smooth - however its really nice with the single braid - is there a trick with the thinner braids and double up
So busy feeding fish I’ve almost no time to like, subscribe, or comment. Almost… I’m excited to try this knot. Who knows - maybe I’ll catch a fish. Any idea how far out testing is for the FG knot?
Hi Mark, sounds interesting what fish do you farm or keep? The FG is on my to do list, I am Hoping to test the Bimini twist next then onto Loop knots, I have not set a time yet for getting the FG tested.
I’m in the Carolinas. At the beach mostly flounder, drum, and speckled trout using a double drop rig and a Carolina rig. Further inland I’m mostly using sliding float rigs for crappie and bream, and having no success, but the fish seem happy…
@@sinelocum 😂🤣 That’s funny, fish seem happy.😂 well hopefully you have some success with the new knot snd the crappie fishing on the weekend. Take care.
Hi Mahonri, yes definitely, the testing I have done truly shows this knot to be very strong. Please also look at the Worlds Strongest Fishing Knot Episode for this knot as I actually end up making the knot slightly different on the clinch knot side of the knot. It is remarkably strong considering it is a single line into a single line knot. Tightlines
Hi Cape Fox, if you take a look at the WSFK videos, where I do the knot testing you can select what mono/braid/Fluoro line weight and see how knot holds up. It also shows the amount of wraps required. This will have been tested too 100lb line class so hope that is sufficient. There is one for Uni to Uni and Uni as terminal knot, hope that helps. ua-cam.com/video/01kmPE6kmYA/v-deo.html
Hi Sam and phil I can't want to meet u phil. sam I have Shimano 25 speed master. With a 100 pound braid Can I use a 150 pound fluorocarbon for sink Rig
You are the Peter Stef Du Toit of fishing knots 😅 Go Bokke 🇿🇦🏉

Hey Miles, glad someone liked it, definitely makes easier work of tying such a great knot.

Would this work for heavy application for surf casting

I use this to cast my 6 and 8 oz bait rigs. Passes through the guides quite well.
Should or could triple uni be used on the heavy leader?

Where are you out of?
I fished in South Africa till I was 22, then moved to U.K. and fished here ever since. Tightlines.
No fg knot yet? Get amongst it sunshine
Im Aussie and i dont think this knot is slim nor a beauty. Only competition fishing tossers used this. The FG knot is the the knot to rule them all
Please try the PR knot…it’s far superior to your knots IMO…
