18:13 the scene after the lane hogger when it opens up with the scrapers to the right and the bridge to the left is majestically amazing! That's New York; dystopian and vintage at the same time. Aiyana is a tre cool gal, talented cyclist ! She should start her own UA-cam channel in Florida. Great little vid! I just started riding my very first single speed/fixed gear thanks to your channel and the other night I rode along with some other bikers for a 10 mile ride! It wasn't enough for me so I rode another 20! Keep up the good work Terry!

I've seen a lot of mobile producers using the DJI wireless lapel mics with windscreen. That would be my guess; best view at 36:07.

I wanna see a climb of the 17th st bridge in Ft. Lauderdale to the beach. On 52x15 gearing.
The Clearwater causeway bridge is close 45ft high, and I think the 17th st bridge is something like 55ft. Assuming she’s done Clearwater I’m sure 17th st should be close
We have the Pinellas Bayway Bridge. I think it's over 60ft? Super fun! I default to 49:15 lol

Climbing is fun. I highly recommend Washington Heights for hills in NYC.
The hills are usually 4% or greater.
Try climbing up Fort George Hill and Fairview Ave. The average grade is nearing double digits up there.

It takes another level of skill just to do it on a road bike. Im a mountain biker but have ridden road bikes and one fixy which I sold in the end. I've hit peoples and gone flying off of that bike. Thats why I prefer having a bit more substance and front shocks underneath me.

Yes Aiyana, you were in the wrong. You stopped at the pedestrian crossing while taking some of the space needed for the truck to make that turn. It would help if you had inch more to the right.

I used to always want to bike without holding on but never could now I'm too old and scared to try lol
make sure your headset is in good condition, it makes it much more easy
my friend i believe in you. be careful though. it is easy once you get it figured out! get decent speed, faster is better than slow. but not too fast! and it helps if you keep your back as vertical as possible. believe it or not, your bike wants to stay upright when in motion 😎 all you have to do is balance on that saddle
