so grateful to see Terry covering Paris fixed gear scene
Paris is so chaotic. What a contrast with New-york : busy but one direction traffic and wide straight lines, Paris looks like battlefield: bikes, cars, bus, scooters, pedestrians, everywhere, in every direction, every 15m meters. This is crazy.
Yup. Don't try what they did or you life expectancy will be a third.
Yeah crazy and not for crazy cycling lol
Try Marseille, it's quite fun too 😂
Much easier than NY, what are you talking about?
@@apollochimp Argument = none
It seems a bit tougher than in US cities, european streets are narrow and much more complex on intersections. Paris is especially messy.
That is why we mostly do alleycats in the evenings when there is less traffic.
This is super dangerous in Paris.
Dude it makes me realised how dangerous is my own city
Police vans lane splitting was trippy. Cool run
the cop opened the door, "unphased".
Soothing music to makes us forget how chaotic Paris is. Brilliant work 🎉
For all who are wondering, YES riding a bike in Paris is chaotic, streets are narrow and bike lanes overcrowded or not well design.
About the massive police presence: there were a big strike that day against the rise of the far right in the 1st round of the parlement election. But it resulted in the 2nd round a mixed between all left and right.
No PASARAN
impressed how well the sountrac works! great content, thanks
I honestly think it doesn't fit that good this time
Slower pace
Slower music
Hittin da cobbles. I love french cycling and the french history of cycling. Guys like Jean Robic who won the Tour in 1948 and was a pioneer in the sport of cyclocross. One thing about Robic, he would only ride a bicycle that was made by a french bike builder with french tubing and french gearing. Despite that during this time all the serious race teams were using the british steel Reynolds 531 and the italian Compagnolo gearing.
12:51 haha he said "ha he is not happy the car driver, that's dumb bike? asshole "
The choice of music is spot on!
It's so weird seeing a Terry B video where I see places I cycle almost everyday
Trippy. Everything looks like in slow motion.
That's some rad music! Great video!
Lovely little edit, and was a pleasure to meet you ! N
Shit, New York looks so easy to ride compared with Paris!
What a field day for the heat. A thousand people in the street.
It's time we stop. Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going down.
Paris is such a beautiful city ! Great video, it's good to see a rider in Paris. Riding there is demanding. Gotta be focus 100%
the amount of people out and about was crazy it looked alot busier the NYC.
Let’s go Amelia! 🔥🔥🔥
this is fresh :)
Oh to be 20 years old with no fear of death or permanent disability.
That feeling only last 2 or 3 years, until you run out of luck 🤕
Thanks Terry 👌🏼🚲🛣️💪
Quite a different experience than NYC
With the variety of people driving from different countries, I’m sure that most are not expecting this Kamakazi style of riding.
Seemed like a much slower pace than usual 🤔
Maybe I could actually keep up🤷♂️
Great video as always
👍😎
Excelente video.
I love these movies and the music that ties them together but do miss the TB Livestreams.
Amelia’s the Queen
Nice tour of Paris
👍😎
beautiful views of Paris
so dope
Chat Élysée
12:26 what a sick shot
those cobbles are rough too... give me serious headache when I ride on them
Yeeeeee!!!!🎉
amazing...sending love from kenya
Cool
Welcome To Paris 😊
Cool vid
So good, I bought me a Hotline Cap!
Paris is very choatic
ride of my dreams, super girl.
groovy.
Riding in Paris is all about squeezing, it feels like being a mouse in a maze 🐁
TERY A PARIS !!
Some of these bikers are horrible at being aware of their surroundings. Lucky the drivers aren't as stupid.
Sadly they are as stupid.
Common man. Share the music. Awesome. It is really great job.
wild
The latest Terry B video got me like 👊🚲🌬🍃
brabaaaa
this frame makes me mad. Its asymmetrical and that is a glitch in the matrix
A day of demonstrations and demands, nothing better to represent us.
4:37 car driver was trying to hit her.
probably turning tbh
That was a full cup of sherbet.
lmao the woman @ 08:07
I prefer European roads to cycle on. Especially if it is in the Netherlands. Solid video!
HelloFromparis 😊😅
What’s the music playing?
This shot 15:03 !!
15:08 now you understand why there is manifestations in my country lol
Paris traffic freaking scares me. I'm comfortable in traffic in most European cities, whether on a bike or in a car but Paris is a big NOPE from me. It's complete chaos. And it's not like London - chaotic neutral. Paris is chaotic evil with a bit of insanity.
Co-rre-ct.
2nd overall or 2nd in women's group? She is smooth and fluid, very good at making haste slowly.
2nd in women's group, and 1st woman fixed
Yeah, she did quite a longer order than optimal (the bridge should have been done first cost her easily 7-8 km). And the first 30 to reach the finish got a second manifest that added 20ish km so they weren't there at the finish.
@@LeDore38 in the longer version, we can hear her say she missed a cp at 34:32
i mean you're right, it was the bridge cp
Love the vids you made all around the world but seeing this in Paris feels weird when I know the laws and how usually people trash on cyclists (my self included) when they don’t respect other people.
Cool editing and amazing shots tho 😅.
That's a lot of police.
Yup, think they thought the far-right and far-left hooligans were finna kick off over the elections.
Gemütlich
Cette video me met inconfortable.
"learn how to bike ride bro" kettle calling the pot black? 😂 Also said in English to a French person 🙈
0:41 For someone carrying a child approaching an intersection that was rather fast. Spongy brakes or what?
she's riding brakeless
14:03 why’d the cop have a riot shield?
When there is a protest march/demonstration (i don't how if that's the right english word) in France, there's always groups of a**holes breaking stuff, throwing rocks at the police etc it's almost never peaceful
Welcome to Paris
@@BaconEggNCheez their were a big strike that day against the rise of the far right in the 1st round of the parlement election.
Coming prepped for far-right vs. far-left battles.
In your opinion?
While it is quite entertaining to watch this. I can’t help but feel scared for pedestrians in some situations. Like, over anyone, a pedestrian not paying attention to a cyclist not obeying traffic laws is really never going to be their fault.
I get the exhilaration people get from fixie culture, but it just seems to come at such a high cost: either decking someone who’s walking, or getting hit by a car. I just don’t get the risk. It’s like free soloing to a degree. Impressive, but completely unnecessary
Her relatively low speed avoided a few crashes too, I'd say.
Nah, pedestrian are more at risk of cars.
Electro-cyclists are a pain. They don't ride their bike, it's their bike that rides them. They don't control anything, just dumb and dangerous.
true lol
Paris Alleycats seem much calmer than NYC/American ones.
In Europe you can't ride like in US. Traffic is actually moving here and no one cares about the fact that you feel like going through red light, drivers will brake only if absolutely necessary.
I don’t know what’s leading the world to its demise faster. E-bikes or social media?
At any other time I'd vote social media, however on this occasion it's gotta be E-bikes.
social media according to your comment..
Hmm, not a fan of this editing style. I love the uncut vids.
then watch the uncut one when it drops

It has been about 32 years since the last time I visited Paris and didn’t ride a bike while there. It’s definitely a beautifully layered city, wouldn’t mind living there if it wasn’t for the french 😉🤣
PS It seems there are always protests in Paris!! After the whole guillotine incident they are always looking for another head to chop off!! 😮
c'est ta tête la prochaine.
you guys have a death wish ?
It really sucks how you treat people on the street.
In other words ... 'you give cyclists a bad name'?
Like, Saying sorry. It's a race.
