@@AiyanaTaylor I use KMC B1 wide, its not izumi quality but decent for 1/8" gears, thick chain. Make similar sound after its waxed. Do you use some PTFE with wax? I do and it still makes exactly same sound while slowing down.

During voluntary work I often get to accompany wheelchair-bound abandoned old people, taking them outside for some activity or company.
It literally is always the pedestrians that almost bump straight into us, or literally hit us while crossing our path without them looking. Cyclist are never the issue, car drivers only very rarely.

Cyclists. Scream at you if you are ever in their lane, yet hop on and off parts of roads and pavement intended for others at a moment's notice and expect everyone to get out of their way. This is why people hate them.

Reflectors don't do anything without headlights being on, it would make no difference to your visibility in this video.
man, really. She ran like 50 red lights in 10 minutes and yelling at cars while doing it. Also at 6:35 she literally invaded the sidewalk and started to ran through babies and children, also yelling at them....

I’m ngl she’a good and got the fundamentals of fixed down but she honestly too reckless in terms of her attitude and confidence that cars won’t do a hit and run. I can be reckless riding fixed in Chicago and I got a front brake at least. Also her attitude towards anything not fixed is very obnoxious, like I understand I have a preference for fixed, but don’t shame others for not having that same preference, like damn sometimes I wanna ride another one of my bikes and be chilling. I understand when it’s an unaware rider, I get pissed off too.

@@ambientblue-eyedmonkey8849 What part of Europe are you in? I would guess none. Because to refer to "Europe" like the entire continent has the same rules and culture around cycling is nonsense. I live and have lived in different parts of Europe where cyclists are common, and cycling on a sidewalk clearly intended for pedestrians is a good way to annoy people in my city and most large cities in Europe. In my city, you can forget about them getting out of your way. And in parts of the city, yelling at people to get out of the way will get you in an altercation. You are expected to get off your bike and walk. There are bike lanes everywhere and infrastructure caters to cyclists but that does not mean that people are lenient when cyclists do dumb things.

@@ZiLLioN_from_Mars She is riding a fixed gear bike, so she has to keep pedalling. Her bike has no brakes so she does these hops to slow the back wheel down while her wheel is off the ground. It's the only way she can brake.
@@jono1457-qd9ft Nope. Here and there she's backpedalling aswell (when the chain gets louder) and she probably could skid also, with a lower gear ratio... but she's too idle for that, I think.

Oof, blowing through red lights without brakes and running down people on the sidewalk aren't my style I guess. It is interesting to see though, I'm not familiar with New York and I always wondered what people were talking about when they complained of bicycles running through reds and stop signs. It's not something you see typically where I live. That does look quite dangerous, and I thought I was a bit of a risk taker 😳
exactly what not to do when you're civilized and respectful. I use a fixed gear every day and it is possible to do it the proper way with respect for pedestrians. Yelling although the car driver is in his right is also a joke. Learn how to run correctly please, at least for the others ...😞
