Great session! With the KB swing I did with switching arms. As my KB is only 15lbs. was able to go deeper on the squat. Which in turned worked my hammies a bit more🦵Thank you🙏🏻 And don’t have a good day. Have a Great day👍🏻😎

I can definitely tell my abs have gotten a lot stronger but still struggling with the V-ups and hollow body moves. Is there a good vs bad way to modify these movements to continue to strengthen the core but also protect back?
Great question. For the V ups, I’d say an in & out is a great alternative that is just a touch easier on the back. A deadbug is always a fantastic exercise to work the abs while keeping your back flat. Instead of the hollow body, you could split the movement into two - sit ups or crunches, and then leg raises - straight or bent as another option.
Hello gang…. I’ve been off for a few weeks due to injury! Today is my first day back! I picked up from where I left off! I’m still in therapy but I was given the ok to get back to my routine! Of course I went a lot lighter with my weights and I really struggled but I didn’t quit! I really loved this workout… I’ll be back tomorrow! I missed you Vera❣️
I knew you would kick off week 5 with a killer but damn 🥵 ...I had to drop down in weight and was definitely happy to get to the burnout session! So happy tomorrow is a rest day which is what I kept repeating to myself during this one, it was tough but I got it done😁 see you on Wednesday and thank you!
Another super workout, Low Impact I think you are lying, this was crazy tough. Loved all the exercises and tried to make it my own with the dumbbell weights to push myself. Thanks Vera for all your time, hard work in designing and bringing your workouts to us, how you come up with all the different exercises is truly amazing.
So glad you enjoyed it! This was a tough one! Low impact just refers to impact on the joints - doesn’t make the workout any easier 🥰 usually means no jumping or similar high impact exercises 💪
I had to play catch up this morning. Vera DAMN, OMG 🌶🔥I just loved this workout even though I am sweating like a pig. I knew you were going to level up ⬆️. I am proud of myself for being able to increase the weights for some exercises but I am not going to lie. I have never been so happy to watch commercials. I welcomed the breaks 😉. This strong summer program is just🔥. Thank you Vera 🙏🏾. Back on track 💪🏾🏋🏽♀️☑️
Weight is going to be different for each person - no weight is best. All about challenging yourself - aim to make the last couple of reps challenging, but doable with proper form 💪
About to start! Do you have breakfast before or after a work out? I’m thinking maybe a green smoothie after might be better. I’ve heard we burn glycogen if we work out with no food before. Your thoughts and what does research show?
It doesn’t matter when you eat - all about what works for you. You can find research to support both positions - as with anything in fitness. I almost never work out fasted personally. Enjoy the workout!
