first thing i thought lol i remember doing work for an old farmer up the road my senior year of high school. i learned how to drive a skid steer and cleaned out an old barn he was using as storage space. found a bottle of "Ol' Mizzou" bourbon from like the 60's or 70's. when i took it to him he told me to keep it and to be responsible with it. i intended to save it but wound up sharing it with a few buddies. was one of the most delicious drinks ive ever had. tasted like cherry cola just way more smooth. wish i would have saved it, can only imagine what it would taste like 20 years later.

I have inherited dozens of these bottles, still sealed and full, from my grandfather's collection. Prohibition era and before, idk what to do with them. Ive come here to research.
@GunOwnerDan how can I get in touch with you? Perhaps I can send you pics? I'm not sure what they appraisal will be for them but I'd like to know more about them and would be appreciative if you have any knowledge. Perhaps there are some that you would want in your collection. I'd like them to go to someone who knows about them and can display/appreciate their scarcity.

@@pz1007 Moonshine is whenever someone makes there owned distilled liquor; its not "poisoned" its made incorrectly wich can be lethal and can cause blindness. You may be thinking of other things that contain alcohol wich where poisoned by the government like gass and other fuel. Unfortunately if it were produced in an illicit market the whisky may not be valued very high. If it were from legit distilleries with cask and bottle numbers, especially in limited supply then the whiskies could be resold for an astronomical amount.
Plot twist: the guy who found the "10" bottles during laboring work on the house probably found a few more than that 😉
Ide def snag a bottle... Well, no I wouldn't.. ide feel too bad. But ide ask if I could have one as a finders fee lol

Drink the whisky, refill the bottle with ice tea, hide them back and troll the next generation of owners. A time capsule from the internet memes era.
the ice tea will be fermented by that point, so they wont know the difference
