When I was 19 years old it was my sister's 16th birthday. I took her and her friends to the water park. It's about a 2 hour drive and lemme tell ya...we blazed THE WHOLE WAY to this song over and over (of course similar music in between) we were higher than Georgia pines when we got there but we had a blast! Best summer ever! 1995 baby!
Hey, Darlin! Your face at 3:42 … it’s like you were meeting an old friend you didn’t even know you had. ❤ By the end … your friendship was established! Great reaction, Stax. Thank you.
One of the best radio interviews ever: DJ interviewing Brad Delp. DJ - “When did you know that you had made it?” Delp - “We had been on the road for a while, promoting the album, and we didn’t really know what had been happening. After a few months, I called my agent and said ‘I’ve been thinking of buying a house - can I do that?’, and he said ‘How many do you want?’ That’s when we knew.”
Like I said before this is THE Boston Song. I agree Stax you can not Rush because it takes too long. And you can not be Cheap because it costs too much. In the Late 1980s his song was rocking my Walkman.
I’m glad you loved this Stax! This sounds as fresh today as it did when it came out damn near 50 years ago now. I bought this album with my paper route money when it first came out. I was 11
Love it. Keep exploring those “classic” songs - rock, rap, pop, metal, whatever. Love to see the younger generation open to hearing music made before they were born :) Like I did and STILL do
Back in the day when all of us old farts had record collections and not everything on her phone. This was always my go to album when I would look at my collection and couldn’t find anything I would want to listen to in this was it. Nothing better than a couple of bong hits in a few beers and kick back and lose yourself into some Boston.
Great band to break into rock and roll with. Basic , but sooo original at the same time. Production is off the charts, and you gotta do a bit of research into how it all started brilliantly and finished in a shitty way. Grat band , possibly greatest singer.
Nice, one of my favorite songs! Compared to your More than A Feeling review I could barely hear you on this but the music was loud and clear. Did you change microphones? Sounded like you were talking with a pillow over your mouth. Just letting you know. Not a critique of your review but something was off on your audio.
Yes I did change microphones. I’ve been playing with the audio so it will be fixed next video. Sorry for the inconvenience I’m addressing it as quickly as possible.
there is no music like this anymore
Dude if you check out their back story it will blow your mind
Every song on this album is fire 🔥. #1 debut album of all time at time of release. Look close at album cover. The spaceships are guitars.
🔥🔥🔥
What do you do when you can't get the sounds you want? If you're an MIT grad, you invent it. Which is how he got the spacey sounds.
Dude, Boston's first and second albums ARE THE PLAYLIST!
One of the best debut albums ever!
And you should do Peace of Mind next. It's the song between the 2 songs you did so far and will finish side 1. Then make sure you do side 2 in order!😂
I thought at first you wanted a whole album reaction for some Iron Maiden. lol. Great Boston Song also A great Iron Maiden Album.
Thanks for that, I haven't heard that in A Long Time!
Thanks for listening

Boston is definitely unique
We were the first class to be able to use a song that wasn’t dictated by the school at our graduation and we picked a Boston song ❤

Great job Stax🤙 Funny you mentioned "production". This was written, performed and produced in the basement! Tom was a genius 🙏
The whole album is amazing!
Fantastic album and reaction!❤️🔥
Thank you💙
Listened to this constantly in high school ❤️
Great reaction! This whole album is 🔥. Keep going. You won't regret it.😅

Turn the album cover upside down . Space ships...are guitars.

Check out "Children of the Sun" Billy Thorpe. ❤
Not song related - but you should watch the documentary on STAX records on Max - you can see your namesake musical history! Love your channel!
You were right kid. That was the piano and not the bass. I love your enthusiasm and your channel. You've gained a sub! 😁
Thanks for the sub!
Sweet!! Let's GOOO! The bass is soo good 🔥
Thanks 🔥
Great reaction kid. Try their song Smokin’ next. Saw them live in 78 and 02

Don't know why I thought of this listening to Boston but you should do golden earring radar love or twilight zone
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Did you notice that the spaceships on the album cover are actually guitars?!
I did not

Great tune, a classic from a classic era of music. BTW, turn up your mic a bit, your voice volume was a bit low.
Noted!
Great reaction bro… the audio when you talk is low on our end.
@@MikeOstrowski-iq8wf working on fixing it
Yes, Brad Delp committed suicide 💔🙏 not far from where I live. So tragic
You need to change the mixing levels of your voice and the viideo... Great reaction though.
I did
The most awesome breakup song ever
