I have my Forge Fathers fully painted (yonks ago....) and ready to rumble 😛
Also I realised that I have some old restic Enforcers I picked up at a bargain price a few years back so those will become my second army in favour of the Veer-Myn, sorely tempted to paint them up as Clones from Star Wars 😁
Rob is looking at Forgefathers or the GCPS so should have lots of variety for this game moving forward 👍

So I'm about complete with my 1k Marauder army and then will start on the Enforcers. Rob had also just bought an entire GCPS army so the game is here to stay 🙂

I've just ordered enough bits to make the Marauders into a 1k army.
this was great. working on a 1k point army of marauders myself. I think the key is to mob up big units of brawlers and a handful of smaller units of commandos to screen. 10 brawlers all with ripper talons is 30 dice hitting the table!
Yeah that's what my blob unit is and will be in a Hornet at larger games.
Love the game and we are busily building up our forces for more games

We have both games and plan to play them frequently.

@@TomsTabletopBunker that's great! Also, I've been looking around for videos to show proxies for these models. With many people having access to games workshop or other models, I'm looking for what would be a good substitute for units in the mantic factions. Models looking similar is one thing, but finding model heights and base sizes is a bit more tricky. It would be cool to see more 40k players bringing over their beautiful models to play this game!
This is great. Approximately what size was the table/area you were playing on? Trying to work out if this would be worth it on our 5'x3' dining table, or if I'd need to extend it.
Glad you enjoyed it. We played on a 4x4 table so I'd say your table would be fine with some slight changes to deployment zones

How many points is this per side?
It's approx 800pts per side straight out of the starter box. Basically by adding a couple of bigger toys to either side you have a 1k army
Do you ever actually play in the Bunker these days?
Yes we have recorded all of our Gaslands games there and will be doing Armada next week. We wanted to take Firefight to our local club to show it off a bit 🙂
Good plan! I’ve retreated to my bunker of late, not useful for growing the KoW player base in the area!
@@idiotproofdalek interestingly Firefight has generated a few local gamers interested in picking it up and it's no stretch to say our local area is dominated by a grim dark future game etc
