the sculpting is great but yeah i’m not sure. I had a ton of cleanup to do. The materials is similar to warcrow’s flexible thermoplastic which were a nightmare to clean up.

I am impressed with the offering overall. We've not played yet so will reserve judgement fully until a few games are under my belt 😀

One thing I’ll add: the miniatures are made of Siocast, which can be quite difficult to get mold lines off of. I’ve worked with Siocast from other manufacturers who didn’t do the greatest job casting, but fortunately the MFC Siocast minis I’ve looked at seem to be well-cast. Just know that it isn’t easy to get the mold lines off. You can’t scrape them, they’ll shred. You have to carefully carve away with a sharp blade, or use a very fine sanding stick… very carefully! 🤪

It's been ages since playing a campaign, so the xp I always forget about! The injuries bit I need to reread I think, cause I don't recall any of that! 😂

@@robhacker8882 that's fair 👍 so pg125 Serious Injury: if a stand or prone and pinned fighter suffers a serious injury result, they become prone and seriously injured. If they suffer more than 1 serious injury result, each additional result after the first causes them to suffer a flesh would. if this injury was infected in close combat, the fighter maybe vulnerable to a couple de grace (simple) action pg104 I'm now searching for the bleeding out rule sorry.

@@robhacker8882 AH I got it so when your rolling for recovery at the end of the phase a serious injury now counts as a flesh wound in addition you are still face down wound seriously injured rather than before where it didn't have an effect

Wife and I have been tabletop gamers for almost 30 years and rarely have we been more excited about a rules-set! About 3000pts of Empire and Crown on my painting table, with similar points in Union preordered!!!

So for the starter set think of it more as an introduction to the game and mechanics via a narrative campaign. Short answer is no 🤣

It says fire is indestructible and immovable except when specifically mentioned. But i'm not sure what to do when you place a fire on a hex that's already full. If there are no worms to prod, you're supposed to move a 'non crater thing' instead, but fire isn't mentioned.

Humm that's an interesting point. I'd say no just from a logical standpoint the crafter is made by the blast and then said blast potentially damages other things. One for discussion I think @manticgames

Craters cannot be moved or destroyed except if specifically mentioned (girder) so they should be exempt from being scattered.
