You did an excellent service as far as I am concerned cuz my favorite meal is rice and banana and I always feel fine rather eating varieties of food to feed my big/small intestine.
hi, interesting video. imo, there's a way to check if you lost muscle without a calculator or calculating your body fat percent -- whether your strength decreased or not. were you still able to do roughly the same intensity of workouts? e.g. if you could do 20 pull-ups before the diet, could you still do 20 after? if so, you didn't lose any muscle. if you could only do 19 or 18, and if all your other major exercises also got weaker, you may have lost muscle. in individuals who don't use steroids, and when skill is kept constant (and in one week that would be the case), muscle size approximately equals strength. realistically speaking, i highly doubt you could lose 1.5 lbs of muscle in one week, even if you ate absolutely nothing. most of the weight you lost was probably water weight by cutting out salt from your diet (because an all banana diet would be completely absent of salt, whereas even if you don't add salt to food, there is natural salt in many foods besides bananas). lastly, for variety, you could have tried cooked bananas. baking bananas is a thing, i eat them fairly regularly. just cut them up in slices and bake, they are almost like cookies. you can also boil them, or make banana stew (like a hot broth of bananas). also, try other spices besides cinnamon! cloves, turmeric, black pepper, hot sauce, oregano, ginger, cumin, cardamom, there's a lot of spices out there besides cinnamon.
Paul Eres Yeah, my strength remained the same. It was crazy. I felt lighter and a little... weaker, I guess... but I still popped out 15 pull-ups which is my usual when fresh. Muscle ups were still the same too. Plus I had the same endurance for handstand, L-sit, dragon flag and other isometric holds. And I agree that it was probably water weight. I did look a touch less bloated/fluffy in the after pic. And great idea on the cooked bananas... wish I would've thought of that while I was doing the experiment 😂

Hi Claudette. I did not monitor my blood pressure during this experiment, however, I did struggle with high blood pressure 11 years ago. The way I was able to lower it naturally was by adopting a whole food plant based diet (I’ve been eating this diet ever since). Specifically, I eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and a little bit of nuts and seeds, but not a lot because nuts are very high in fat. I also focus on green leafy vegetables making sure to get at least one big serving a day. After just a few months eating WFPB my blood pressure returned to normal from stage 2 hypertension. I also do not use vegetable oils. They are too high in fat. I sauté in water instead of oil. I've always preferred eating bananas by themselves. Give an hour or 2 after to digest. Just seemed right. They make you feel good but mixed with other stuff they loose their magic. It seems.
I totally agree. There’s something magical about a “mono diet” or even “mono meal” of just one fruit. It’s like your body tears right through it and feels so clean and energized from it.

Keep with the great work, you look great, health starts from the inside out.
I knew about the power of celery juice from Anthony, but I didn’t know about his banana and lettuce cleanse. Thanks! And I agree. Protein is so overrated. The world’s obsession with it makes most people miss out on the power of glucose, mineral salts and other critical nutrients.

Sheriff Nemo yes, I was definitely getting sick of them. I couldn't wait for the experiment to end by day 6 & 7. But I'm already over it and consuming bananas again in my green smoothies :)
For a true cleanse, fats and proteins which are really just also fats must be removed. Nuts and seeds removed and just stick to water, fruits and greens.
I promise you meat doesn't ferment in you stomach for 10 days :'') That statement just took away all you credibility!! How do you think that would work, would it stick to your intestines and just wait and wave as the other food passed by? Normally it takes 8-12 hours, and your body don't care if its meat or anything else, the muscles move the food in a rhythmic pattern.
I am doing what you're doing. I am only eating bananas. However I am eating probably 3 per meal and staying full. not a whole ton load like a lot of people do. I am losing weight. If someone goes into only eating bananas and does not have a big enough deficit in calories they will not loose weight. Atleast not very much.
Addy yes, I worked out 6 out of the 7 days. 5 of the workouts were 1 hour long and an even mix of straight arm work (tucked planche, front lever, v-sit), mobility and cardio (jogging or sprinting). For the 6th day workout I did a lot of basic exercises, muscle-ups, handstands and just played around with my favorite skills.
I know what you mean about cooked food draining your life force. I didn't know until I tried a raw diet that I could feel so much better. It's really amazing how this information has been hidden from society and humanity has been somehow led down the path of cooking our food, eating the wrong food groups and relying on chemicals for "health care." I feel like it has to be by design. Like some group of people led humanity down this path and it wasn't by mistake. Anyway... sorry for the random rambling. I'm glad to hear you're raw and chock full of biophotons. We need everyone to get on board with it. Keep it up!
15 bananas/day =1350 calories so a lot of weight loss shoudn't be expected, especially since your body metabolism might slow to compensate after a couple of days. It looks like the small loss was in your 'spare tire', although yours is more like a flat bicycle tire :)
You’d be extremely hungry if you did that. 3 bananas is only about 300 calories, give or take depending on their size. I wasn’t trying to fast during this week of bananas, just live off of one food. If your goal is to lose weight and be all around healthier, just eat a variety of raw foods. Eat all the raw foods you want, but keep it to only raw fruits and vegetables. Eat until satiated. Don’t hold back, just keep it all raw. You’ll be surprised. Raw food is high in volume and micro nutrients, but low in calories. So it’ll fill your stomach and nourish you while helping you lose weight.
What type of foods should I eat to lose weight ? I started Sunday night my little weight loss journey. I’m eating 1 salad a day with water only. Nothing else. I’m already less bloated but wanna try new foods just not salad

You look like you got leaner and gain some muscle
This is the average sea of thieves diet
This is like the film”the fly” but you turn in to a “tomatoe “ plot twist
But honestly, did you not start hating bananas by the end of the week?
Sheriff Nemo yes, I was definitely getting sick of them. I couldn't wait for the experiment to end by day 6 & 7. But I'm already over it and consuming bananas again in my green smoothies :)
I approve of this video
Bananas have a lot of sugar
Natural sugar not refined sugar
Next video: A man ate 140 bananas. This is what happened to his brain.
internet says you shouldn't take more than 10 bananas or else it'll make you gain weight
You answered your own question with the nutritional breakdown. Protein deffeciency cost you a little muscle mass
yeah but it didnt. thats the point. we were fed some lies somewhere along the line
Anyone tried this?? Quarantine fat is making me crazy... anyone else?
Well your skin looks. Clear
For a true cleanse, fats and proteins which are really just also fats must be removed. Nuts and seeds removed and just stick to water, fruits and greens.
1.5 pounds in a week is water weight. You ate almost all carbs. Try it for a month and you'd be messed up.
@Justin Bell Makes no difference if you call it ferment or rot. None of those are correct anyway.
Which application you are using to measure neuitrients of your diet?
I’ve always used Cronometer. I love that app. A lot of people use My Fitness Pal and swear by it, but I’ve never tried that one.
I wanted you to try blue java, i Also wanted u to eat Musa velutina banana, purple bananas, white bananas, but sad u didn't
Grazed on bananas, the ol' fashion way lol
Come on, we all know your surname is Sins. You must be related to him!
Disclaimer: Banana diet doesnt include water
Were you working out regularly on this diet?
Addy yes, I worked out 6 out of the 7 days. 5 of the workouts were 1 hour long and an even mix of straight arm work (tucked planche, front lever, v-sit), mobility and cardio (jogging or sprinting). For the 6th day workout I did a lot of basic exercises, muscle-ups, handstands and just played around with my favorite skills.
Oh Saitama-sama
One Punch Man!
I eat only raw all the time …. It is the only way I can stand eating at all … anything cooked just drains my life force
Keep it up!
Bananas makes me feel full. Make sure they are barelyripe.
15 bananas/day =1350 calories so a lot of weight loss shoudn't be expected, especially since your body metabolism might slow to compensate after a couple of days. It looks like the small loss was in your 'spare tire', although yours is more like a flat bicycle tire :)
What if you only ate 3 bananas each day. Instead of so many ?
