    Hello Emma, if it doesn't bother you not having your boards screwed together, who cares what other people think. I love watching you and all your adventures. Please keep on doing you!!!❤

    Hi Emma, it's your plot, if you are happy with beds that are not screwed or nailed together then that's all that matters 😊

    Oh Emma, you have me in stitches 'Einstein where's the screw, you're stressing me out, that's yr fault that is' 😆 and the spider/garden glove screwed to raised bed, oh Emma this is top class entertainment, lovin it. Your DIY skills are as good as mine. Sorry I'm giggling at yr DIY frustrations, but you've got yourself another subscriber! 😊

    I've tried to watch a few gardening allotment vlogs, but I always give up when they build a professional raised bed frame, or build an incredible greenhouse, because I know I can never do that. But I stayed watching and subscribed to your channel because it's like gardening with a friend who's around the similar skills to me.

    How have you not realised that Einstein is the previous plot owner who was really good at carpentry! He was chirping away when you started drilling. Listen to Einstein as he is the key to the success of your plot 😂😂😂😂. Loving your videos xx

    You have become a huge inspiration for me! Every morning I look out the window to check the weather and figure out what jobs need to be done out in our gardens. "What would Emma do?" Has become my daily mantra, as I talk myself into putting my garden clogs on and get out there working- even in crap weather. So not me!

    Another great video Emma love your willingness to give jobs ago 🎉. Just be careful tho em when using a drill and screws I wouldn’t advice wearing gloves as it dangerous and very easy to get caught up in the chuck . There are screws available too that are a little easier to use for diy , and will make your life easier , which help when u not pre-drilling a hole in the wood . Keep the great content coming , love the bird feeder 👏👏👍

    Hey emma love the vlog and i have suggestions to help you with the tricky parts in one of the spots where theres loads of sun ask your husband to make a grapevine cage and grow grapes there are grape varieties to grow in britain and that will thrive in our climate and in the second tricky part get bare root rose bushes that love partial shade it will fit in with your wildlife area and bring pollinators hope this suggestion helps

    Emma to make it easier you should put a small block of wood in each corner and drill into that, so the screw has more space and all boards will attach nicely together and be more sturdy 😊

  • @StephenUren-qb6ff

    I’m useless at diy! But I get a lot of joy out of using the drill to make holes in pots, 😅 I feel so powerful drill in hand (and dangerous 🤣!!)
    I adore your plots 💚 love that there’s going to be a wildlife area.
    Do you have an area/ section where you can take a break that had a lovely view over your plot? I have a camping chair that I grab from my shed and take it to a shady spot for my rests 🐝🐦🦋 I very much enjoyed sitting among my tommies last year, what a smell 🍅

    Hello Emma,
    The spot to the far corner you said you didn’t know what to plant there you could expand on your corn growing patch there. Or as someone had mentioned potatoes, or maybe be plant a few rows of the corn all along the back of your plot that would definitely hid that area, and can still plant your flowers in the front of the corn. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing your plot jobs today take csre

  • @violetraal5383
    @violetraal5383 11 місяців тому

    Make your sweetcorn bed double wide, it will take up that space in the sun. It will pollinate better if there are more. Face it , you only get 1 or 2 from each plant, so putting a few more in won't hurt. At least if squirels steal some, you might still get a feed.

  • @aname5267
    @aname5267 11 місяців тому

    In the areas nearest the tree I’d grow your things that you’re not worried about being productive. The roots will hinder the growth of your veg so just grow your wildlife plants. Chuck down some wildflower seeds etc.

Husband's solution was to put a gate in the gap. He has NO DIY SKILLS or no interest in learning, I enjoy improving my skills, wish there was a course locally to learn more.
