Realistically, a female space marine would probably look like a man anyway. Think what female body builders look like, and multiply that to ridiculous levels. Space Marines are so different to normal humans that the starting point of any human would probably give the same result.

Except that space marines being male only is itself a retcon. In the early days of 40k, there were female space marine miniatures. Apparently they sold so poorly that they were written out of the lore later.

I think of the Space Wolves as what you get when you artificially keep an old warrior culture alive, long past its extinction. Like they, as with many other marines, are putting on a bastardized farce of a life that would have died out long ago. But what would marines know, they are just pre-adolescents at heart packed up with other pre-adolescents.
BTW, we did not loose the technology to go to the moon, we lost the budget to go to the moon.

Wasn't a Space Marines started as a Neophyte, a Scout Marine that was yet to become a full-fledge Battle Brother?
They had to go through a lot of training and trials for years before they became a scout 👐🏻

Yes
They can take off the armor, which official w40k videos but also the codex have shown.
however most space marines really dont have time to be able to relax.
I don't think they are permanently molded on. You could roll a chaos mutation where that happens, and either a weapon or your armour becomes some unholy symbiotic thing. Or you could roll a mutation where you walk like John Cleese.
Dreadnoughts are walking coffins of eternal terror where some sod is permanently hooked into a life support system. They are unable to get out.
Now I see where the Stroggification came from. And Id took it to another level with a bottle of adrenaline injection at the start of the process. If Bethesda is planning a Warhammer 40K game this might be included.

I mostly didn't think of them. They were so far removed from what actually mattered to the players. The players need to know how Mutie Bob runs a smuggle ring for canned meat or how to take and hold Building 227.

Grab what you think is fun from martial cultures in myth and history. In general, Marines have leeway to carry on some proper nonsense.

Dunno, sometimes the sergeant is a neophyte being groomed for squad command. Sometimes they have full marines embedded as instructors.
On the table I think they count as neophytes with the normal higher Ld for being sergeant.
