Do they have any fentanyl or morphine in their suits along with teh steroids and hgh stack?
Two fun facts I've come to learn:
1.) Astartes canonically have very bad BO, not just from being stuck in armor and skin-tight body suits for days or sometimes years at a time, but because they have all these weird-ass organs and their biological byproducts. Pretty sure this extends to the Primarchs as well, especially in the cases of Curze and Mortarion (though the argument can be made that they could just never be asked to take a shower).
2.) Sevatar repeatedly demonstrated the ability to spit acid without the use of his Betcher's Gland.
My husband can tell you I can do the same, but that's because of my Bitch's Gland.

@@robertnelson9599 it's certainly the most in depth take I've seen from sci-fi, with all the added organs making sense both in function, purpose, and how they influence one another.
In reality, I hope you get some stuff like that.
If space Marines were real, imagine how much food they wood have to eat to keep up that body composition. Way more than what a strongman would eat, which is like 10,000 calories a day
Our competitive basketball players eat around 10k calories per day because of the intense training and they still look thin while they are +6ft tall. I spoke to a trainer. He said some of them eat over 10k calories and are still loosing weight and he needs to shovel a jar of peanut butter into their mouths betwen regular meals. A strongman eats also 10k calories per day, but he doesn't move around that much and doesn't burn so much calories thus he can develop muscles. Imagine a space marine. Intense training, movements, muscle developing....10k calories would be only for rest days doing nothing else than breathing. But because of their special organs they probably don't need that much nutrition...who knows. Would like to see a space marines diet plan.
intravenously injected deep fryer grease
They use some very rich in calories kind of MRE, which is very poisonous for regular people while being on mission. While being at the monastery space marines can just eat their servants (hello, flesh tearers)
Just take them to the field and let them graze all day. Make sure you separate from from your cows by a fence, or they will eat the cows.
Almost makes me wonder if they just chug protein milkshakes all the time to fill their macro.
Omophagea reminds me of research on flatworms - back in the day, 1960s researchers noticed that flatworms required an acclimatization period before feeding in a new environment. However, when they allowed adult flatworms to feed on juveniles raised in a different aquarium and then translocated the larger adults to the juveniles aquarium, the acclimatization period was not required and it started feeding almost immediately. Apparently a protein is transferred during feeding which can be integrated into the new host, almost like a mobile memory.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war…
I've always had a problem with the whole "ribcage fusing into a single lump of bone," because your ribs expanding and contracting allows you do do unimportant things like breathing. Also instant blood clotting is kind of bad if you have blood in your lungs. But meh. SPESS MAHREENS!!!!!!! I like those guys.
Well, i think the cage is enlarged, so it will allow the lungs to contract and expand, and these guys have 3 lungs and the tech to grow brand new ones, so no big deal
the gaps between the ribs are not replaced by solid bone, i think its like cartilage or something
imagine having an astartes level aneurysm, it would probably make your head explode.
Apparently “fusing” is just how they call the transformation, instead, the ribcage turns into a set of segmented plates, flexible enough to allow breathing
You could probably do a cope and say their bones overlap eachother instead

some additional information on the extra Primaris Marine organs.
the implantation of these two and a half organs (one of them, the Magnificat, is incomplete) requires the subject to be cut open from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet. the operation takes place inside an auto sterilized med vault. they lay on a marble table with craved runnels in it, that collect the blood of the subject so that it can be put back in them later. copy and pastes to follow.
the Sinew Coils (The Steel Within) - The Primaris Space Marine's sinews are reinforced with durametallic coil-cables that can contract with incredible force, magnifying his strength as well as giving his body another layer of defence. A Primaris Space Marine can crush a man's skull in his hand, break Flak Armour to flinders, or even bite through a metal cable should the need arise.
Magnificat (The Amplifier) - A small, thumbnail-sized lobe that is inserted into the brain's cortex. The Magnificat secretes hormones that increase the body's growth functions whilst also intensifying the function of its other transhuman implants, especially those of the Biscopea and the Ossmodula. In truth, the Magnificat is but half of the true, dual-valve Immortis Gland (the so-called God-Maker) that the Emperor created for His primarchs. However, Archmagos Cawl could only find materials and genetic blueprints to build the Dextrophic Lobe (the right half of the Immortis Gland), while plans for the Sintarius (the left half) that would complete the original super-organ had been wholly eradicated from Imperial records of the Primarch Project. Whether this was done by the Emperor's own hand or by some nefarious source, Cawl could not tell.
Belisarian Furnace (The Revitalizer) - This is a dormant organ that connects to both Astartes hearts. In times of extreme stress, or should the warrior's body undergo violent, damaging trauma, it expels great blurts of self-synthesised chemicals -- a hyper-cocktail that simulates the biological action of combat stimms while also aiding in the rapid regrowth of tissue, bone and muscle. The gland then falls dormant again, and takes some time to metabolically build itself up once more for the next usage.
The Primaris implants are normally introduced to the neophyte between the implantation of the Biscopea and the Haemastamen, steps 3 and 4 of the Firstborn Astartes implantation schedule.
The Astartes creator RIP had me
Did he die or was it a joke
@@Myhousemattews It was partly a joke. He "works" for GW now so GW forced him to take down all his videos on youtube.
@CJ You know Syama did gain money by doing a copyright infrigement of GW's products right ? Like, Astartes uses a lot of copyrighted things like the Aquila or even the term "Astartes" (if i recall correctly). GW was actually pretty generous of a company to not immediately bust his ass in court and take away all of his money. So, while I am a bit anxious about the restrictions and possible quality drop his employment by GW could mean, saying "he might as well be dead" is incredibly stupid. He will continue to work, but this time in a legal manner and with a salary and, if we are lucky, will be able to produce another (or several) other masterpieces like Astartes.
@CJ Yeah of course, because Syama is only defined because he makes Astartes. It is so disrespectful to say "he might as well be dead" when the litteral translation is "waaaah he will maybe not make the exact same content that I like, it is so bad even if I have no proof the quality will drop neither do I have any idea about the contract he made with GW". You do know he is a human outside of being the creator of Astartes ? Someone that has the right to financial security and whose worth is not directly tied to your own selfish desires. You can joke as much as you want like "RIP, GW will kim him" but saying him signing a contract with GW is worse or equivalent to be dying, you are nothing more than disrespectful and whining like a little b*tch.
Well, GW's "pathetic concept of a business model" is one of the more tolerant one I have ever seen regarding fan made content. You'd rather have them act like Nintendo or EA ? Yeah, didn't think so. They are far from mastering the art of "alienating" their fan base, you are just completely ignorant of what a business model or copyroght infringment is as well as not knowing anything about how other companies treat their fans. Sure, GW is not perfect, sure it is a stupid decision to remove Astartes from UA-cam, but boy is it light in term of companies treating their fanbase like shit. Stop overreacting about these things when all they did was hiring famous fan creators to make official content for them.
@CJ They clearly aren't "quick" to "shut down" their fans given that Astartes and most of the creators that were contracted stayed online for several years. And if offering working contracts to respected fan content creators or letting them obviously infringe on their copyright because of the quality of their work doesn't mean "nurturing independent creators" then honestly I don't know what is.
If they disactivated the comments on their YT, I'm guessing it is because of the unbelievable amount of people who are not as respectful as you when it comes to GW's attitude or content. There is an extremely loud minority of fans that complain really really loud whatever the change may be and they are really obnoxious to the fanbase in general, making it detrimental to GW. I'll agree that their conduct towards fans isn't the best but condamning them as soon as they try to make a change in content production is detrimental to everyone. I'll personnaly wait and see what comes from their program before encouraging people to spit on them.

I'm quite new with the lore here and have some questions. I didn't understand how the primarch's "characteristics" are trespassed through the main chapter and successor chapters like particular mutations and so on or on a basic level all space marines are the same. Also are primaris all ultramarines or can they have other primarchs genes? I want to build a black templars army and I don't understand how a primaris would be so zealot without their ways of indoctrination with neophytes. Can a primaris be a son of Dorn "genetically" or only "culturally".
Well you see,Geneseed is the equivalent of sperm really,it's a person's DNA and characteristics so when a person recieves the Geneseed of let's say Konrad Curse(Primarch of the Night Lord's) then they'll develop blackened eyes and pail skin like him and the rest of his legion. And yes primaris Marines can be from different primarchs as a primaris marine just has some extra organs compared to a firstborn marine so they still need a basis like Geneseed to make a spacemarine, that's why chapters like blood angels and spacewolves have primaris Marines that suffer from their genetic defects.

I can't afford that plastic crack habit either (+1 shaky hands) despite having been into the setting and fiction since I was like 14, so to get my fix I just play Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy and pretend like that's not exactly equally as embarrassing.
Drink everytime he says gene seed.
Well done, Mate!
Fun fact one of the 40k cuisine is dehydrated human flesh since it’s the most abundant source of protein
You legend MK!, can we please have next the 'if a different Primarch was Warmaster' which you teased in your last poll. *Cough cough* For the Lion!.
Wonder what it could have been like with some of the shittier Primarchs
This. I voted for that video, and I'd like to see it made
Gnarly video man!
Gene seed is what a Kiss bassist uses to coat his shiny platform boots.
Do Chaos Space Marines count as "Space Marines" for the purposes of determining if I'm a non-conformist?
7:58 The necrontier would like some of these
Would be great to see some Genestealer Cult stuff mate
New video from a Kangaroo, just what I needed to start eating with culture.
7:26 GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEAD
Could you possibly do a video on how logistically there is no way a 1000 man chapter could defeat horde armies like the Tyranids and Orcs...truly, from a military standpoint they just don't generate enough firepower to stop 1,000's or millions and at the losses they suffer they would be wiped out...
The emperor protects dummy
You said the longest a space marine has gone without sleep is 328 hours but there's an in lore instance in which an ultramarine spends over 1000 years without sleep in the short story "the aegidan oath"
Harncorx Capsule: _exists_
Me: "Excuse me, no-one told me Astartes come pre-kitted with A GENETIC BLACK BOX HOLY MOTHER OF LAWDIES"
God... the tabletop really makes you forget how cool space marines really are
I love the thought of a space marine screaming while furiously shitting himself
How long does it really take to make a single Space Marine, I heard it could years for the organs to mature in the acolyte, and some install all of the organs in one sitting?
The organs are never all implanted at once. I believe the entire process takes around ten years with the organs being implanted in batches of 3 or 4.
There are different techniques to create them, the short one is the old technique from before the Horus Heresy when they had everything in abundance and it was no problem that a lot of the recruits died in the process. The longer one is from after the Horus Heresy when the resources got smaller so more survived the operation. (Sorry for my bad English)
Lol only thing you left out is the Chaos Marines creeping around collecting soggy gym socks to get more gene seed :D
At least the glorious astartes have no need for xeno contrivances such as the Squeedilespooch.
I love this video.
By the Emperor, i dont need seeds!🤖🦾
Morty took the cocoon stuff a step further and become a decomposed moth
Meanwhile, us WE are still using Manlet Marines because GW wanted Call of Duty (Primaris) instead of revamping ALL OF THE CHAOS ARMIES.
I like primaris but fucking come on GW stop dicking over Chaos!
Amen and it would be nice to get a Slaanesh Astartes Codex.
Don't worry, after you get to buy your second wound NEXT YEAR, you'll prolly have to wait another couple of years for big bois. If primaris even CAN fall to Chaos...
@Ian Yoder I hate that I know this.
Ikr i just started collecting models and now i almost want to do it just to collect bc its not worth trying to play if there just going to pull stupid shit like not releasing certain new codexes till the end of the year then just possibly getting a new edition the next year
Do more lore about the wars in the setting. Armageddon, Vraks, Badab, Black Crusades...
christ! YOU HANDSOME AUSTRALIAN!!!
Magnificat is actually a primarch organ, except Cawl did not have one half of it.
