I worked in Zurich for 4 years. One of the admins in the office was a young kid who was an fc Zurich fan. Throughout the 4 years, he never once spoke about the actual football. Whenever I'd ask about the game, he would go on about how many pints he drank, who they tried to pick a fight with before and after the game, and how many people he tried to punch. He still lived at home, mum still washed his clothes, and even made his packed lunch. He was constantly on edge, and somehow everything let to his apparent fighting skills.
@@howardsend6589 to be fair, I fully expect that is the actual extent of the fighting capabilities of both these actors, so it’s probably as realistic as you can get!😂
Tamer Hassan's (Fred) anger during this scene was real because Frank Harper (Billy) ad-libbed in the "kebab shop" line as Hassan's father actually did own one! :D
@@smnbee75He did. Got one of the hooligan books and he is giving his story of his time with Millwall although I think is careful about what he reveals do as not to hurt his acting career
You know when you've seen a film so many times in your life that you thunk ah I can't watch it again... after all these years of not watching it, after seeing just this clip, I'm watching it again lmao 😂
This reminds me of banter with mates growing up and during fall outs. You dont get flame battles like you did in London back then anymore. They were bloody quality. 😂😂😂
I know it wasn't that kind of film but it would have been really nice if they'd actually put all that animosity to one side for the sake of the little lads and their love of the game. Admitting without saying it that all the violence comes from that and that it's much more important than any bad blood they might have. ...I'll let myself out
@@nickmaclachlan5178 Yeah tell me about it. Not saying it would be realistic because it wouldn't. Just that it would have been a wholesome scene in an otherwise unwholesome film.
Yeah? Be nice if we all held hands and skipped through fucking meadows wouldn't it? But we DON'T WHY? Because life AIN'T like that; you idealistic div.🥱🥱😴😴
If you're from London Lemon means smart, as above. Alot of people thinks it's bitter, but like the bloke said above, lemon tart. My old man use to say it to me.
when i seen this in the pictures, they make it out to be a joke and after it, it cuts off and they werent fightin but still slaggin each other, and now on dvd and tv they just make it out as if they did actually fight?
quality banter followed by a little fumble in the mud. sums up the whole film
Eloquently put MrMegarry
It was ad-libbed as well Tamer Hassan was genuinely annoyed when he said about opening his kebab shop
@@nickpayne2102 Truth F@cking hurts eh?
Just a bit of banter
I just basically posted that and then, pleased with myself, scrolled down to see it had already been said.
Like nine years earlier...
DELETE.
The only scene in the film that actually shows a game of football
Well it's not about the sport so ....
And there’s not a single bloody factory in the whole movie
Or a The. What the fuck?!

This is the most realistic scene in the whole film - parents ruining it for the kids by trying to live out their lost youth.
All the "football hooligan" films hammer that home: selfish pricks being selfish at everyone else's expense.
Realistic? 😂 Let’s have a fight then they lie on the ground cuddling. 😂
Very well said👍

@@spamme9021 True. 😂
Some people will just see this scene as a comedy, but everyone who’s played youth football knows this is basically a documentary 😅

Yet, after the scene Tamer would thank him, for bringing the best out of each other for the scene.. 😁.
Both Millwall fans and both proper respected down there.
I'm an actor. I've met Frank & Tamer. Both top fella's. The fact that Tamer's old man DOES own a kebab joint means FUCK ALL. End of.🙄🙄🙄🙄
Yes Tamer is Türk
I love how it kicks off with the right amount of techno only to immediately devolve into them hugging on the grass 😂
The scooby do line was marvelous
I don't like scooby doo it's dumb! 🤮

gotta say their banter is pretty fucking on point LOL
I think it was scripted
It should be on point, the scriptwriters took about two weeks to come up with it.
Brilliant banter
Don’t get lemon bill don’t suit ya!!!
Should be up there with some of the greatest lines in movie history!
never gets old lol
Ironic thing is the actor that played the Chelsea bloke is actually a Millwall fan in real life.
Both tamer and frank are millwall
Frank took part in a bit of casual hooliganism during his early days also. Nit sure if Tamer did though, but yes both of them are Millwall fans.
They both were part of the Millwall hooligan scene

Yes, but now they make sure they observe social distancing and have two negative tests 24 hours apart
