October 24th, 2016 -- In this Trout Mystery Tackle Box Unboxing+Slam, I am bringing you guys a combination of fishing and exploration.
This was a very very odd slam, alright? I found everything but the Trout! I found some Creek "treasures," as you see in the video (and many other treasures that I decided to skip). I found a weird industrial complex that had a water discharge hole right in the middle of the East Branch Brandywine Creek. And finally...I found a very creepy abandoned plot of land in the MIDDLE of the woods, fellas. Single road, boarded up house...and some other sketchy stuff. Reminded me a lot of "Exploring with Josh." Hahaha
Needless to say, the slam didn't go as I had planned! But regardless, I hope you enjoyed this video!

Awesome leo!!! I totally know the feeling of being fully submerged in the fishing adventure, where it's just you your wits and nature. one of the best feelings in the world.
I love how enthusiastic Leo is
Another awesome video Leo. I love exploring places like that. I feel like fishing and exploring go hand in hand.
People need to chill with the thumbs down action, Leo is kind and patient enough to share his extensive fishing knowledge with all of us youtube viewers from around the country, I really enjoy these videos. Before you do a thumbs down think about how much you personally have shared with everyone. Ask yourself a question before you do a thumbsdown "Am I just a hater or a participator"
right on leo your a great example of what a good angler is about looking forward to your treasure vid
At least you tried Leo. Thanks for sharing. I've never heard of a fall fish.
Fallfish box... huh... those little buggers are aggressive this time! Wow :D
That road you saw was an old trolley line that eventually was turned into a road. The trolley ran between West Chester and Downingtown. If you had walked far enough down it you would have came across a few houses that are still occupied. In fact, back when I was in school, our bus dropped off a few kids there everyday. I don't know what the building was but I would assume it may have been there to support the trolley system in some way.
Next time get a bunch of your friends and explore that old place that would be so cool!!!
I would say water treatment, which is probably what that other place bubbling the water into the creek was too. You probably found the old abandoned one, they typically build the new ones real close to the old ones.
Always have a lot more fun exploring streams and creeks when fishing. Great opportunity for multi species over the years. One stream draining out of a large lake, yielded me a 3lb large mouth bass. In my hometown the stream that runs out of the town lake while not the cleanest is full of creek chubs, black nose dace, carp in the deeper pools and hold over trout which spill out of the main lake. Near place I lived, caught fall fish, several types of sunfish , a small large mouth bass, and a Grass Pickeral in one outing, all artificial lures.
Awesome Halloween video
Hey leo big shout out man u have inspired me to do the right thing and help people and the enviroment out when ever possible your my hero
In the first 10 seconds of the video I the bottom left it said paid promotion and when I clicked the screen it went up with the time thing, dang youtube. LOVED the video Leo
In my younger days when I fished on that creek in northbrook they could tell what color dye they were using and polluting the creek. Much better for you.
That abandoned place you found would be an awesome spot for a party, especially a halloween one
Great video! You should do some crappie fishing
i get pumped when you post a new video!! keep up the awesome content
fish there all the time. good fishing
I feel used about just getting out and getting into nature Leo. it's amazing though being out in the woods like that, and coming across all the garbage, plus that graffiti filled abandoned place. of course when I think of Philly, woods and nature doesn't really come to mind. nice vid.
That looks like an old fish hatchery. That's just what it looks like to me. I could be wrong. Btw I love your vids man! Keep it going!
That thing you found pumping out water was a water recycling system for a sewage treatment plant
Im glad he tried his basst
That place could've been an old fish hatchery, there's one near me that releases rainbow trout into creeks and they have little segments with water in them like you found
Woah that train in the beginning had a caboose
you got some balls going in that house on the hill man.. I would've crapped my pants lol
it might be a water treatment plant ! nice video !
Really enjoy your videos
Awesome video Leo!
huge fan, leo. love ur videos!
That is definitely someplace nearby a quarry my dad used to work at one
looks like an old fish hatchery... It is by the river, and those look like where the tanks would go...
Bro, you're a braver man than I, personally wouldve bailed from that place as soon as I saw a road leading into nothingness
looks like you found an old water treatment plant.
It was a fish refinery... I say that because it had water is in between all those holes and you had boardwalk in between them
Great video Leo
Leo you should get the morning dawn pink gary yammamoto senko its AMAZING you domt even have to jig it its that good
Leo u should try the LTB trout box and see which u like better 👍 and awesome video lol
it looks like a water treatment plant. especially that one place that had the water coming into the creek might also be some type of water treatment plant.
hey Leo love ur vids u should come to nj this spring I'll show u some good fishing
Your amazing Leo your so funny and I love your videos
you have guts leo I wouldn't be caught dead in that dark room
Looks like it could be an old harchery by the pipes and the big concrete pool by the creek, and the lower level.
Hitting all my holes in downingtown! cool to see you fish the same waters I do!
Chris Santoro I fish the area too. Looking for a bass spot. Any spots you recommend?
kerr park area of the brandy wine always has some small mouth. But for largemouth i would head to marsh creek
That cloud behind you looks like a fish jumping out of the water behind you in the first minute
Oddly I've never caught a trout while using a trout magnet, but I've caught almost every other freshwater species around me. I've caught white and yellow perch, smallmouth and largemouth bass, black and white crappie, bluegill, pumpkin seed, green sunfish, redbreast sunfish, and even a small pickerel.
awesome video man
I think the place with the square and water in side it is where they raise stock trout and feed them there
The structure used to be a water treatment plant that hasn't been used for a couple decades
Maybe it was an old fish farm. The pits might have been used to store fish. Unless that's rain water.
looks like possibly an old water treatment facility.
Randy Smith that's what I was thinking.
You were on Trolley rd. southeast of where you were...maybe 1000 yds is rt 322. My guess is that place used to be a hatchery.
I think it might be a. Fishfarm
The concrete tank with water might be a waste water treatment tank. Looks like the one at my work if there is industrial buildings and equipment there.
safety first bro.
Zit looks like an abandoned fish farm at 20:48
I think it's a fish hatchery
It sucks uncle Steve isn't making fishing videos anymore
Dreadie Andy I love that guy...
I Am Ratman18 A lot of people hate on his channel,i dont know why, he has an awesome channel.
Dreadie Andy why is he not
Dreadie Andy
+MMFishing he made a video about it. He's been done for 4 months
nice Halloween video.
Looks like an old fish hatchery
I'm guessing it was a mill of some sort due to its proximity to the creek.
At least you have trout near you I can't find ANYTHING with trout where I live😂☹️️
Adam Lemieux all there is where I live is trout
I think it was a hachery
looks like an old hatchery for fish
Awesome intro !
That place gave me the creeps and I wasn't even there. What was that orange thing on the bottom of the ladder
Leo, i know it would be hard to take care of but maybe you could put some trout in the tank. Personally i really admire the beauty of trout and i think it would be amazing to see them in a tank.
LiftedSquare13 trout get wayyyy too stressed out to be kept in a small tank
LiftedSquare13 it wouldn't be beautiful in a tank. would lose all colors
You can get trout as pets. You can buy them from hatcherys or take them from bodys of water as long as you have a fishing license and trout stamp. You just need a decent size tank, a temp regulator to keep the water cold and you get a current fan, itll make a current for the trout.
The hole in that room is where they throw the sacrificed people.
it was part of a old paper plant I wish I would of knew you were trout fishing in Downingtown I live 200 yards away from where you were if I knew I could have put you on some trout I know the Brandywine like the back of my hand I've been fishing it my whole life
your videos are the best i bearly subscribe an i went trought all ure videos ure a funn dude
You should've casted your lure in the pond like structure at 21:05 maybe you would've gotten a trout!
Strange lures in the MTB , even stranger site up stream . Wow. Cool creek , but no trout . Still you tried yer best. Sometimes even the best plans just don't pan out. Just the way it goes . Better fishing next outing. Tom Daytona Beach, FL. 31, July 2020 .
Good thing no clowns showed up 😂😂😬
At 12:44 that rig is used for trolling on a lake
looks like an old fish hatchery
That seems to be an old Quarry road cause I've seen those before
I got the floating Joe and the Z spoon in my box
Looks like a fish hatchery
looks like an old reservoir
The graffiti in 21:27 sums it up well.
I use the trout magnets all the time mine come with the like half inch worm
i was talking about the spoon
Epf- how u doin leo
Dang that's a really good box maybe I can catch some bass or saltwater fish with the z spoon and floating joe and that's a really pretty river to fish in
At the end that place looked really sketch
XD Exploring With Josh Time.
maybe a hatchery, especially if its on a creek
you are one brave mother@#$& to go checkout that place
At 22.25 it looks like fresh car tracks.
hey Leo, are you going to make a part 2 using the rest of the baits?
on a different product i got for hatchery dust it had that same picture those little snitches and snakes
What the heck was that spooky place
Leo, if can make it next year down to Brookhaven Delaware County, my gun club stocks the Chester creek by a swim club, Everyone down there, including me have pulled in some pigs and help the PFBC stock the creek too, the first day is for gun club members. but the next day is for everyone. Ill keep you updated when the stocking day will come.
I thought the best rig was a trout umbrella rig. Ps my uncle lost one on the allegheny on a muskie
just saw leo on chestnut st... I waved but I guess he didn't see me . look like he was heading towards the river
its a place where they raise fish
bro you have balls of steal to look around a place that looked like that. great video s
Maybe a fish farm
i think it was a fish farm/hatchery cuz you are next to a creek after all
that kinda looks like an abandoned fish hatchery
i have the big bite grasshopper lures i have never caught anything on it
