April 21st, 2017 -- For my 43rd outing of 2017 and 3rd day in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, my friend Mike Caruso and I went to his friend's backyard Pond for some freshwater fishing. Taking in consideration that it was my first and last time there, I did a Species assessment. Thus, here is a micro-fishing, multi-species fishing, and Bass fishing video -- all 3-in-1. Enjoy!

I catch big Bass on night crawlers all the the time, partly thanks to your help. I was using nightcrawlers on a high/low rig for finicky Bluegills and decided to wacky rig them and started catching bigger fish instantaneously. I caught a 3.8 lbs Bass that way.

I love it. My favorite fish catch of all time is the two inch bluespotted sunfish in my picture. Catching that species on hook and line was so rewarding. I've yet to see another one. I try for them in my area a few times a week, today even. So elusive! at least where I fish.
That sunfish is pretty cool, I have only caught a handful of that species...

I've had painted turtles hit inline spinners before. Super weird how they attack lures. of course, I have caught them on many other baits too, but they sure are feisty to eat a lure!

Drop shot is my Jam Leo! I catch lots of smallmouth on a dropshot using a roboworm. They love the salty goodness that the roboworm spits out when they bite. They can't let go! Try it my friend you won't regret it.

Leo you should go to west Chester pa to the valley creek and catch the giant trout and try to catch a giant 4+ spotted bass and also I can show you my "secret" spot aka the spot where I catch ALOT of trout. Along with the trout there are some smallmouth bass bluegill redbreast sunfish and other species of trout.

In tanago fishing in Japan real bragging rights come with hooking and landing anything shorter than the diameter of a 1 yen coin. That’s 20mm or 0.8 inches. Check for tanago videos here on YT.
Anyone know where I can find micro hooks? What’s a good size? Thought I got small enough ones but they were still too big for the fish.

I remember about 6-7 years ago I was fishing at my regular lake that has quite a few turtles in it while fishing for bluegill. I snag something, turns out to be a turtle about that same size, but thankfully it got off pretty easy, I throw it back out and wouldn't you know it the very next cast it comes back after my Nightcrawler again. #GreedyBastard
