There was another gorilla once like harambe faces the same situation, an injured child fallen, but people did not screech and shout as load as they did with harambe and did not spook this gorilla. The gorilla picked up the child and stoked it until a medical unit arrives. This could have been harambe’s story too...
To be honest, even with the people screaming and shit the gorilla acted very well to what it's normal for them, of course he treated the baby as a gorilla baby so of course his best idea was to drag him around and stay on top to protect him, seeing the video i don't see Harambe going "rogue"
You’re just assuming that if people were quieter Harambe would have been as gentle as that other gorilla was. The fact of the matter is that they’re animals with free will and there’s no way of knowing what decision they’ll make in a given situation. For Harambe, dragging the kid around like a rag doll was the wrong decision.
Here in Argentina, there was an old lady that in an interview she said "vistim" instead of "victim". The memes were funny, then they interviweded her again, and she was almost criyng, saying hiw she cant go outside since there are like 30 people making fun of her, following her while saying "vistim" or forcing her to say "vistim". She sometimes even got bullied. Then the meme died, poor lady bro, i felt so sad for her.
A thing like that happened in Brazil. A boy started messing with some tigers in a zoo, putting his arm inside the cage. Then a tiger attacked him and he lost his arm. I don't know how he is now, but he quickly became a meme because "he was stupid to mess with the tigers". I hope he is well
@@alexrowe7063 He also went to jail, because the bullying got so hard he threatened to shout up his school... But yeah i'm glad he is doing better now!
I dont think there is anything wrong with laughing at a meme, or a silly thing someone did on video. The problem is harassing them and messing with them in person. Laugh and move on.
I know right? Like just imagine if someone like an asian dad who hates his son so much they both became a meme and commented on this video, Wouldn't that be so weird?
When I was in 5th/6th grade we had some people come over to school and talk about "internet safety" and stuff like that. But when the day came to an end, they started talking about videogames... Just imagine, a middle aged karen telling her kid how bad videogames are. Yea that's how bad the last ~30min were. But just as I thought it couldn't get worse, they pulled up the angry german kid... Yes the people, that came to our school that day to teach us about internet legit thought that, that video was 100% real. @@AimlessSavant I feel like I'm in the 1-2% of people who think that the zoo made the right choice considering the circumstances. It's an incredibly high pressure situation highly dangerous for the child. Heck, even a full adult man would be in severe danger in the same cage as a gorilla. If you had to choose to save a human toddler or an adult gorilla, which would you pick? Especially with a screaming crowd and TERRIFIED parents. Sure maybe there was a chance the gorilla would've left the child alone, but they *did* give it a chance to back off peacefully first. They made the right call.

@@SpartanBames Just from the video footage I can certainly tell that the kid was dragged around like a ragdoll. It was a miracle he managed to survive after both the fall and being dragged around like that with minimal injury. In a tense situation where a human child's life is in danger, taking down an animal is far more sensible than prolonging the danger of the child, no matter how fine he was after that. How would they know that the child was uninjured? And tranquilizers don't just drop animal asleep in a heartbeat, they can potentially lash out, endangering the child even more. Ironically here in the internet, in some cases the life of an animal is valued more than the lives of human children. Bash me as you can, but my firm opinion is that human lives matter more than any animals, unless said humans are scumbags of society.
I’m surprised you haven’t mentioned that Korean actress that posed for a meme with another guy and three kids in a fake family photo.
Aduanich Pestano Febles Well, even if the gorilla meant no ill-intent, dragging an injured baby on the ground tends not to go well.

Just from the video footage I can certainly tell that the kid was dragged around like a ragdoll.

@Eating Sounds how? There isn’t really anything there forcing them to buy skins, except for the players.
Another dark side: UA-cam comment sections will milk your meme dry to the point where it’s annoying and inescapable.
Edit: well since this comment is getting a lot of likes, I must do this annoying edit:
OMG THANKS FOR THE LIKES

I realised how people who make memes get reuploaded, stolen, hated on, get no credit, get no money, and then when they say "hey that's mine" someone says "no one cares this is youtube poeple reupload"
There was once a meme in Poland about "Meat hedgehog"
It was about a song from some weird drama "Pamiętniki z wakacji".
It instantly became a meme, and because of that, the guy that sang it, commited suicide
May he rest in peace
Oh my god
That is dark... this makes me view memes from a different perspective
Where to find that meme? I already searched it but i dont know to click which one
@FunnyPole thanks
@Alex Klassing wow. ain't you the most badass person on earth. just STFU
I'm a little late but fun fact I'm from Brownsville Texas and have seen harambe when he was young. Here at Gladys Porter zoo. I didn't think much of it, but I witnessed a legend in the making. RIP Harambe.
Hey man, I dont know if you're still reading these but please dont take the viewer count as a direct implication of this videos quality. This was a phenomenally done video, algorithm and user interaction is the cocktail that made this not do well. Its arguably imo your best video yet. Please keep going man
I like how memes in 2020 and 2021 uses the late 90's meme format.

I feel so sorry for anyone who just posted something on the internet and got shamed by random people.
Why? I guarantee there was at least one person that told them don't do it. Nobody forces them to record embarrassing stuff and post it on the internet. Own fault.

To be fair, it would take a looooooong time for memes to do even half the damage christianity has done

@@roundbrick4890 I get this a lot, apparently people think my user name is indicative of a man of religion but it's actual meaning is 100% anti-religion.
