I've been following you from a couple years now and you and the other glitch builders (Pharoah, Scottish Rod, CrisCros) have taught me everything I know. I love how you've been updating this and clarifying it as time has gone on. You are the king of wire mastery
After all these years I wasn't aware of the wire rotation function to switch between the two wire position/orientation in a single point (I was always strugling in changing my POV to acquire the second wire-orientation, silly me), Smart Beebs !! And thanks for sharing to us pupils ;-).
Thank you I'm still watching and learning, I have set up a base where I try all of your techniques. I leave them so that I can go back and try them again as a test. I use mouse and keyboard and was finding it hard to control the curser so I got the wife to get me a trackball, that is when all of your teachings paid off.
You had me at "how to make your own ship hull." Hope you recognize the old movie quote. Great work. I try to replicate your videos in order to learn the techniques.
Today I was trying the wire glitch, but I didnt know about the orientation issues. I was trying to flip the glass dome(greenhouse) upside down and then place one on the top(bottom) so it made a sphere. It didnt work. I was only able to place them on their sides, but there was a gap between them. Then when I placed the forcefield? door on the glass dome you cannot access them when they are on their sides. The dome door that opens would allow me to access the dome but I had to fly in/out. I'll keep at it! Eventually I'll make it work, or not. Lol Thanks for all the building tips!
One way to have the Biodomes to glitch as a sphere is use the same wire connector. Glitch a Biodome on a wire connector, then use the Short Range Teleporter to flip that wire, and glitch a new biodome on the connector, that should result in 2 Biodomes perfectly as a sphere.
Love your fantastic videos and learn a lot. But, for some reason, can't get wire glitch to work not matter what I try. I changed from lap top to gaming pc, changed keyboards, different mouse, and went to using on solid table, tried and tried. My pc button pushing is just not good enough. Do you have any suggestion about what may be done to improve my luck? Thanks
maybe cover more on what is reverse wire glitch? I think it's where you select a part but instead glitch to produce a wire? Or do I have this backwards?
@@Beeblebum yeah I watched several of them, I tried to do it today and it's still very confusing to me. I don't know if I will ever get it down. The wire glitch is the most confusing as I don't fully get how you part you want to glitch to the wire, then fully know what I want to do will even work. I set up one ladder horizontal and I was able to climb and climb up a fake ladder perpendicular to the horizontal one I placed. I did some other lame witted concoctions too. Mostly looks like gravity on the fritz. ha, ha. I'll play around with it some more, I'm at least got a good set up on a planet with nice weather all the time.
how about make a stair ways video, then show how to put in a handrail so you don't fall off the stairs using wire glitch, show again how you select the part to glitch to the wire, I've done it a few times but usually by some weird accident not knowing how I even did it.
AS someone who got this game upon release. I stopped once all the ridiculous base building requirements that made the game from an exploration to an engineer sim game. I had hundreds of hours in the first 2 years and have barely touched it since. Having to learn how to wire your base is dumb AF
You don’t _need_ to learn how to wire a base. After the initial tutorials, you can sidestep wiring entirely by choosing a freighter base, which might be preferable to those, like yourself, who prefer to focus on exploration but still like some of the perks that come with having a base. Either way, I’d highly recommend at least a cursory glance at what the game has become with its latest updates. It beautiful.

This is great could never build until I started watching your teachings MASTER Thank You

You talk about a lightbulb moment, but as usual, it's more of a lighthouse!
Thanks 👍🏻
This wire thing sounds important, i shall take notes! 🐝

A wonderful compendium of wire control. Thanks for sharing.
More In-depth tutorials with more examples would be very much appreciated.
Great stuff :)

Always time for a refresher Beebs, thanks

Wire rotation in degrees for circles?

I released a guide about the wire glitch last Tuesday - covering the wire glitch...
You can find the link in the description.

In hindsight, I could have saved a lot of time and effort with the light floor.
I'm still a bit of a 'NEWBI'... But can anyone tell me how to build the 'STONE-FRAMED' Teleporter in the background ?
