Lol.. yeah - this was a modified version of the Droppod.. to make it a bit extra exciting.. haha. It would be a fun thing to install on a server so everyone really just falls to the planet and crashes.. 😂
This was really good! Looking forward to the next episode, I enjoy watching these SE beginner / tutorial videos since it seems that every person doing them mentions at least one thing all the others didn't mention, so keep up the good work. You are using pretty much the exact same QoL mods I use but one I can't live without that you aren't using is "Minimum Drill Dust or Stone Particles" it makes me crazy when I end up standing there waiting for dust to go away from mining.
Once you have a gimbal, and a cockpit or remote, you can fly the drop pod without additional thrusters, you just have to manually point your ship in the right direction. As you might expect with mouse and spacebar only flying, taking off and speeding to your destination is the easy part, getting your speed back to zero, in every vector, then landing is the tricky part, but what's a little crash damage between friends. *8') In my last few play throughs, I haven't found any Cobalt deposits, and relied on Magnesium deposits and contracts to fund buying Hydrogen miner ships, to break down for Metal Grids. *8')
Would you maybe consider to play Sarekh's new scenario in some future? I feel, you're most probably the best youtuber showcasing it. Until then I'll enjoy whatever you uploading. Have a great day beeps and everyone else. Stay healthy, safe and happy everyone!
I modded the spawn-pod and then used that to start the game. It was just a ridiculous thing to add tbh… lol. I had no idea what the result would be.. but damage was pretty mild.
Hey Beebs, was this playthrough started just by using Earth Planet under original Content? Is "mission to reach the advanced Factorum faction" a custom mission?
I just started a regular new save - where the drop pod lands on "Earth" While I modded the Drop-pod itself, nothing else is different to a normal start. Reaching the Factorum is just a self imposed goal. The Factorum itself is part of the vanilla Experience. 👍
Wow another "tutorial" just what the internet needs. God forbid you skip all that wonderful fluff, "press X to do this" type of utterly essential commentary that no one else has ever covered, you might actually have to get on with it otherwise
Wow, you're a huge crybaby. Since it's been three weeks you don't have much longer, ask your bf for a backrub and some chocolates and maybe you'll be a little less moody during your time of the month.
Losing the parachute was great 😂
I love the "How To" format you put in for this series. Your guides are some of the very best out there, as is your content. That's why I'm a member!
great to see you doing a series for the newbies and showing us oldies how to take on factorum lol
Looking forward to this series as I have been missing Beeblebum survival videos!
Great to see another SE survival series from you, especially up to and through the Factorum content!
Hey beens great idea and well done sirus
Nice starter vid.
Good episode, had a lol at the beginning, oh those parachutes 🤣

Thanks! 😊
I never really noticed it takes that long for the dust to settle... But if it ever bothers me, I can look into that mod. 😅
Nice start BB. The only thing you miss is other people. :D

Come on… I want to see you fly that pod over with the current thrusters. 🙏 it’s totally safe. 😂
YOU should watch my next Episode bob... I promise I already recorded it before you commented! 😂

I actually started doing the Vanguard Scenario last Week Saturday during my Live Stream. 😊

How did you lose your parachute? I've never seen that happen in anyone's play through or in any of my games
