    Thanks for the one year update. I've been researching this cart and have found those who own them are very happy, while those who don't have nothing good to say. Your first hand experience helps!

      I can tell you I see more and more of these carts on the streets where I live. Over the last year, they seem to have exploded. I've had people come up to me and ask questions, telling me they are trading in their old cart for one of these. Based on what I see and hear, they seem to be doing something right. Appreciate the feedback and enjoy whatever you decide to buy!

      I agree ! I’ve owned mine since Dec of 2020 and love it ! I’ve put a small side step on each side completely unobtrusive and added marine stainless steel grab bars for my wife to get in and out of . I live on the beach so salt is a problem here so a wash down is needed frequently . Interesting about changing out the differential fluid if you don’t mind what did that cost ? Thank you !

    Thanks for the update. Picked up my new i60l yesterday. We used it a lot today and it is everything we thought it would be. We have some big hills and our new machine had no problem reaching the top. We bought the yellow with black seats and it looks great!! Please keep up the updates my friend.

      @@skeim5620 I work out of town and get home on Friday evening. We use it all weekend without charging during the weekend period. we average 6-8 miles on the weekend and it has never got below 70%. I have never tested to see how for I can go on a charge. I love this machine. Great investment if you use it. They are very well built.

    I have this exact Golf Cart for 1.5 Years (I60 L) and it has been good, a few of the items I would change is getting the Lithium Batteries instead of the AGM, with 5 riders I can go approximately 15 miles before needing a charge where as Lithium should give me roughly 30 miles. Living in a community with allot of hills it won't climb some of the steeper hills with 6 passengers, a couple of people need to get out in order to finish the climb, lastly the On Screen MPH and Charge status are incorrect, at best this Cart does 22 MPH (reads 25) and can't trust the Charge Level Gauge, I tried to find someone to adjust the Controller but no-one will touch it, afraid of Federal Law (Speed Adjustment) Still happy with the purchase

    How many miles do you get going until 50% battery? Also what type of terrain do you drive on? Hilly, flat, mixture?

    Would love your input: looking at the icon i40L for easy use around our home in the country, moving a bit of ffirewood or a scoop or two of gravel, and going on nature trails of grass/moss and on our graveled roads. Hubs thinks a golf cart might be too rough of a ride- any input on that if we're not riding on pavement? We aren't planning any rigorous use, not going over logs or boulders! just slow joy-rides with the pups. And will it handle a long sloping hill? we like to go down to the creek on the gravel road, but then we have to get back up the hill. Not terribly steep but if you're walking it, it will give you a little workout.

    • @cwa99favs
      @cwa99favs  2 роки тому

      Thanks for the comment! Not sure I'm able to provide much help as most of my driving is on pavement. Occasionally, I'll take a small dirt trail shortcut to the lake but it's a very flat, hard packed trail. If you're driving off-road, I would agree that it might be a very rough ride. I've carried a few lite loads on the back of mine, few bundles of firewood logs, packages, etc...nothing too heavy. I don't have any experience driving it on hills as my area is flat. I do know some commentors have used them to drive up some fairly steep streets and it sounded like they had some challenges. If you have a dealer nearby, I would go test drive one and see what you think. Sorry I couldn't offer more helpful advice.

    Just had our i60L delivered today. How often do you charge yours? I’ve heard multiple answers and they’re all different. I’d like to get the most I can out of these batteries. For example, we drove around our neighborhood tonight and still show volts at 50. I didn’t plug it in tonight after those short trips around the neighborhood. Curious how you’ve handled yours.

    • @cwa99favs
      @cwa99favs  2 роки тому +1

      Congrats on the purchase! Yeah I've found very differing responses about managing the batteries. Kinda like walking in to a room and asking who makes the best pickup truck lol! Originally, the dealer told me to run it down to almost empty in between charges. Also found folks who suggested charging it after every use. I suppose I landed somewhere in the middle. I drive it almost every day and charge it once a week. It's usually in the 60-70% mark when I charge it. Is that the best plan? I have no idea, but it's worked for me and I haven't noticed any issues over the last year.

    Hey man I have i40L and I have been following your videos. Couple things.
    1. You said you have had to add water to your batteries? I check mine regularly and have yet to have to add any water to keep it above those tabs. What about you?
    2. I did take one or your viewers recommendations and installed the 2” spacers on my i40L to help with the sway and it’s a pretty good fix. Not perfect but noticeable improvements. Does the 60 sway at all at top speed 25?

    • @cwa99favs
      @cwa99favs  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah I've added water a few times, maybe twice. The levels had dropped a bit so wanted to make sure they didn't drop too far.
      Good to know about the spacers! Do you mind sharing where you purchased them and the exact model of spacer? I might look at installing some. Yes it does sway a bit, especially if it's loaded down with 6 passengers. If it's just me, it's less noticeable.

    Looking at purchasing a 2022 and I was told by the dealer near me that I should expect 12 miles on a single charge or roughly 2-3 hours. Caught me by surprise because it seemed like a very short battery life…. Is that your experience or are you seeing significantly more mileage from the battery life?

    • @cwa99favs
      @cwa99favs  2 роки тому +4

      That seems very low! I don't pay attention to it that often, but I swear I get more than 12. I was actually thinking about doing a quick video to document my mileage on a full charge.

    I have an ICON I60 with Trojan MOTIVE 8 volt batteries. I recently had to replace one after only 20 miles on the cart. I used the warranty to get a full replacement at no cost. After reinstalling the new battery, the chargiing system is not working properly as I only get a "blinking red light" and the cart will not recharge at all. Please help with any troubleshooting tips. Thanks!

    • @greggwilliams9934
      @greggwilliams9934 2 роки тому

      Good question, I too have the ICON 6L. I do live in a hill section. My dealer did come out and programmed the cart to run at 30mph vs 25mph. After dealer made this change at my home (no charge) it too about 7 minutes with his computer. I’ve also got AGM batteries which I’d strongly suggest. I did need new tires front and back as the fronts were completely gone after 4,000 miles in on year. I use it daily. I’m now Getting different tires and rims as well as under carriage lights and paddle board racks on the side. It’s currently at the dealer CartMart. They ship all over the country. 7 locations
