How many miles on full charge
Where did you buy
I am in south Florida
Can I ask how much?
It was 10k including tax but that was summer 2020. Not sure what prices are like now. Giant Recreation World… rv dealer that also sales carts. They have a few locations around central Florida. When I started looking, I actually contacted icon over in Tampa to find the dealers in my area.
I just recently ordered the same exact vehicle. I hope not to have any issues. I look forward to seeing additional reviews. Carlsbad Ca
Toyota makes the motor and controller !
Hey keep up the good videos. I’d would like to know how many miles in distance that you get on a full charge. I have a custom built 2018 club car and I get around 25 miles on a full charge. I was looking at these and I see there’s not a whole lot of information out there. So it’s really nice that you’re doing the videos Thank You
Awesome review!
Just received my new ICON cart ...can you tell me the position the light should be if running lights are on during the day ?
@@greggwilliams9934 Whatever your preference is, The options are, Daytime running lights, night time running lights, headlights, and high beams. Hope this helps!
Hey man great video. You should do an update and show how it rides. I'd like to see the screen on also!
Will see what I can do here soon. Thanks for watching!
Thxs alot for your answer about the performance on the hills that you so far know .since you only ride the cart on the flat routes. Appreciated your feedback. But I could tell you I went another route I got the eatric 6 seater is the same design as the icon of the advance ev that are out there, why they look the same ??? That is a😊 question mark? How good is one from another??? Well as far I could see I got the litunium powdered from eatric golf carts and guauuuuuuu..this is powerful and goes to 28 to 32 mph. I have been shocked and also have a Toyota AC motor 5w that makes a bigger difference plus the litunium powdered. I feedback to everyone one here. 🙂
I just ordered a I -14L!
Is anyone have an issue that your I i60 L lifted doesn't fit on the garage?? Well I'm having that issue . People been advising to take all the rubber support on the top of the roof and on the rear cut the struts like 1 1/2 inches if you do that it should lower the high of the rooftop I would try that ..I woy keep you posted on that🙂
how is the aftermarket parts for these? which golf cart do you recommend for aftermarket parts accessories?
How are you liking the cart? I live in central Florida and want one, just worried since there isn’t much info out there about this brand/warranties
The cart is great! I've really enjoyed it and no issues so far. I think I'm right about 6 months in, about 450 miles on it. They have a 2 year warranty but can't really give any insights on it since I haven't had to use it. The area I live these icons are all over the place. I'm happy with it and it serves the purpose of what I need...cruising around town, running some errands, etc. If you get one, let me know what you think.
Hey thanks for doing that video!
I'm in the market and I will check out ICON. You didn't say how many volts . 48 or 72?
Thanks! It's 48v. Here are additional specs on the cart I have,. iconev.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/6.10-i60L-data-sheet-617v.pdf
@@cwa99favs could you tell me if this 6 seater is good on hills with family loaded??appreciated i just could not find any helpful reviews about it...but your reviews are great thanks alot for taking your time
Sorry it took me so long to respond! That's a good question. Where I live is flat so I can't really give any insight in to performance on hills. This past weekend I had 7 people (3 on the back seat) loaded on it driving around and I could tell a difference. Took corners quite a bit slower, a bit more time to get up to faster speeds. The cart still did fine but it was noticeable. There was a comment from someone who bought one and lived somewhere with steep hills. They mentioned they were changing out the controller to help with the performance on the hills. Don't think I ever heard if that helped or not. You might look through the comments and ping that person if you find it. Hope that helps!
How do you enjoy driving on surface streets. I’ll be driving to the beach
It's great driving on surface streets. The city where I live has a golf cart district downtown so I use it constantly to run around town. These carts can move fast!
How is the indigo blue in person? Any regrets?
Love the indigo blue and it looks great in person! No regrets at all .
I just received my Cart. It’s very nice . Question, there is 3 light possibilities
what is the daytime running light position, is it the DOT ? or the 1 light ?
Thanks
Looking at the switch, I use the middle position during the day, the top position at night, and the bottom as high beam if I'm on a trail or need more distance light.
@@cwa99favs terrific, thank you. The ICON handbook seems to skip this area lighting.
Any issue getting this in and out of the garage? I want an i40L, but am worried about the height. Heard it is higher than other lifted carts..
No issues as long as you have a garage opening tail enough. I can tell you the height dimensions they list on their site are not accurate. I think the list 77" but it's closer to 82". There is the canopy height then there are a few bolts on top to account for as well. I have an 83" opening and go thru slowly.
@@cwa99favs Thanks so much. That helps a ton. My actual opening is right at 83" too, but the door and where I can get it to lift up to is lower... May be super tight.
Ah ok. If you have a dealer nearby maybe go see what you think. My understanding is the i40l and i60l are the same height but I could be wrong. Only going by the height of my cart.
Hi, could you do a tutorial on how to take off the governor? thanks!
Andrew Shim how fast does yours go mine does 30 stock I heard someone say they did 35 in theirs
Tyler Albright WHAT?? Mines was governed to 25 because in Florida it’s supposedly illegal to go over that
Mine*
Tyler Albright I think yours had the governor taken off already
No it stops at thirty and won’t go any faster
How has your batteries held up? I live in a little beach town near Tampa and would need to go about 4 miles one way downtown via neighborhoods. I am currently on the fence between a street legal version of this or a street legal gas cart.
Zach Snow It's rated at 25-50 miles on a full charge. I know the first few times I drove it, the batteries seems to drain faster than I expected. But then as I have used it more, it's much better. The dealer mentioned that as well that it would take a few cycles/charges to get the batteries up to full strength. I drove it several hours the other night in traffic and maybe used 5-6%. This is my first cart so I don't really have much to compare with previous experience. I'm in a neighboring city in the Orlando area and use it mostly for running errands, going downtown, or to the lake...just to give some context on how I'm using it. Hope that helps!
How is it on hills? Im in Northern Illinois and im in the market for a new cart and with so many out there i dont know who to pick from. The way UA-cam is its making me go for a gas cart but seeing this icon i dont know now.
That's a good question! I live in central Florida so the closest I get to a hill is a speed bump :) This cart has some decent power so I could see it going up a hill fairly easy. Maybe see if there is a dealer in you area and go take one for a test drive.
China cart?
Do they offer additional add on accessories? It’s amazing how little there is on this brand online.
Yeah hard to find info on these carts. I know they have a variation on the seats with a version that's color matched to the exterior and striped with white...vs. the black I chose. Outside of that, not sure what else they have. The shop where I bought my cart mentioned accessories but this one had everything I was looking for...outside of maybe a blue tooth speaker which I plan to add with something after market. Honestly, it was even hard to find a dealer that sold these carts. I had to contact Icon directly to find out where they were sold in my area. Once I found the dealer, I think everyone else did as well. These are hard to find in stock and several dealers told me most are gone before they even hit the showroom floor. Hope that helps!
@@cwa99favs We are working on setting up multiple dealers across the country. We have recently opened up a manufacturing plant in Dallas and also one in AZ. ICON is such a new brand and we are trying our best to get the info out there. If you have Questions or Inquiries please reach out to denelambkin@att.net
