He was doubted by everyone and after his death his brother retrieved his body and buried him and on his grave it said LOYAL. His brother than went on to inherit driftmark
Woah he turned the damn tides!!!! He siked the Hightowers lol. Now thats a Velaryon!
All ended up doing nothing as king's landing eventually fell regardless
@@playoffmodesp2536 that attack took out Vermithor, Daeron and Tessarion which was helpful regardless
@@emmanueladedeji3335 still rhaenyra fcked up
Overall it was waste of his life, he could have flown anywhere else like nettles
@@asp5399Addam and Alyn were desperate to prove themselves worthy of being Velaryon so Addam fought relentlessly in battle. It was his heroism that helped Alyn to become the Lord of Driftmark.
The Second Battle of Tumbleton and the surrounding events caused the death of the old dragons Vermithor and Silverwing as well as the deaths of Prince Daeron the Daring and Prince Maelor- this would rob Aegon II of any male heirs and destroy his lineage.
It also destroyed the greens as an organization as the rebellion by Hugh Hammer caused the Caltrop faction to form and permanently ended the Betrayers, as well as the last true army the Greens could field.
I'd say it was pretty important.
Seasmoke looks more like Danny's dragons
Poor Seasmoke.
Interesting, why would Addam go after a riderless dragon? Why not focus on the actual Army forces that were there instead of a Dragon who, without a rider, had no allegiance and likely would've flown off eventually to Dragonstone or Driftmark or... well, anywhere else? Also, I really wanna see Tessarion, regarded as a cool looking dragon if I recall
A dragon is worth 20.000 men atleast
Because Addam didn't know that Vermithor's rider was dead. From his perspective the dragons (and their riders) were the biggest threats on the field and so he had to eliminate them quickly. Hugh, Ulf and Daeron were all killed right at the beginning of Addam's attack, so there was no way he could've known they were already dead.
Because the book isnt 100% what happened in real life. It was written by someone else (in story character) with bias, so there will be plot holes. Which is why the HBO show is different because that is 100% what really happened.
@@chuchu5946 nothing actually happened, really, because it is a piece of fantasy literature
@@flameofudun4238 wow you’re so smart.
That sucks seasmoke was my favorite.
Thanks for the scoop
I wonder if Adam of Hull later Adam Velaryon will be Leanor’s return?
I hope not. They are great characters on their own as brothers and putting Leanor in the mix I feel would ruin that
cringe
Hope they include this story.
Adam i bet is going to end up being leanor valaryon, corly's son in the show or maybe his partner seems plausible.
And the writers on the tv show will replace Addam with Laeonor…….smh
