Since flowey seems to remember timelines I like the thought of him directing asgore to use different attacks each time the player presses continue and learns previous attacks, prolonging the fight much longer than it’d be without him.

i really love it when asgore says "see these souls? they're in my control, they trust me". it symbolizes that even the human souls know that we are an evil being, so much so that they would rather side with their killer than with us. how we are not only a threath to monsterkind, but to humanity aswell. instant sub from me!
I noticed smth funny - on neutral and pacifist (in canon ig) Asgore says "come to the barrier when you're ready." in this he says "come this instant." he's out of patience and actually wants to fight you.

The souls could easily fight back and Asgore, knowing you can just reload, there’s no real point in fighting you(Genocide). On Pacifist and Neutral, he’s keeping up a facade. But on Genocide, everyone is dead. He has no reason to fight.

In my opinion, the BEST thing asgore could do in this situation is pass through the barrier with the 6 human souls, go up and obliterate humanity stealing all of their souls and just leave frisk to rot in the underground (or come back with 7 human souls and kill frisk idk)
Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you're Genocide Frisk) the best thing he could do isn't what he does. He's too softhearted to do something that cold, even if it would be the best thing to do - with that power, he may even be able to revive the monsters, especially if he acquires MORE human souls, since 7 seems to just be the minimum to break the barrier, not the maximum.

My head-cannon is that Flowey, after talking to you on the way to Sans and realizing you plan to kill him, decided to abandon you and go to his father for help. It would explain why Asgore absorbed all 6 human souls before the fight, which, in my opinion, make it impossible for Flowey to get them himself. Therefore, I believe, in this reality, Flowey can now feel fear (and possibly other emotions) so he could relate to the other monsters, and therefore, become good. TL;DR: Flowey as trying to redeem himself by helping Asgore kill Chara and not absorb the souls for himself, making him a little bit heroic. (Yes I just want Flowey to be good and fight with his dad with a genuine feeling of familial togetherness and respect. And yes, I know that there are a million issues with it, you don't need to tell me.)
Yup. Considering you can only beat omega flowey BECAUSE they LET you. They work with you. In an outcome like this, as long as Asgore was fully devoted to it, it would be impossible. To add: If they MUST have him be defeated for game reasons, the only way to do it would be to have him give up. I get that if you took all the human souls you would create a new save file and everyone wouldn’t be able to come back but after that when you go after and beat you (the human whatever) would you not be able to reset back to before the geno route cuz your like a complete god or am I missing something?
