Same. I'd go to the bathroom and cry. I was dealing with his sudden, explosive rage, his seizures, my mom's seizures and having to walk on eggshells all the time. It was so tiring. I rarely got sleep and his anger was rubbing off on me. I had enough when he tried to strangle me because an alarm on my mom's phone woke him up. I'm out now and things have settled down immensely.

Bruh, I've watched a streamer, who has a girlfriend who also streams. They used to have a long distance relationship. One time while they were both streaming, his girlfriend had to stop streaming and was rushed to the hospital. While he was mid stream, he received a call from his girlfriend, he literally stopped the game, muted himself and talked to her for a while. Then he hung up and told the stream that he was ending it, and then did his best to support his girlfriend for a few days while she was hospitalized and didn't stream for a few days too. They aren't even married and that streamer showed more love and respect for his girlfriend than this POS did for his own wife. So pathetic.

After that time, read back and pretend the journal belongs to someone else: if you feel afraid or worried for that person, tell them what'd to do to fix it. Then do it for yourself.

I have a boyfriend who is obsessed with playing video games, but he has never done anything like this. When we used to live in the same area before I moved, (we went to high school together) every time I come over to his house to be with him for a few hours, he would play on his Xbox, but he still gave me enough attention to show me his love. Whenever he’d be done playing his games, he and I would cuddle with each other and give each other kisses and have nice conversations. And to this day, I’m still with him. He knows how to treat a woman right. ❤❤❤

Not trying to toot my own horn here, but my girlfriend used to be in a relationship like this. Given that I helped her through the bad relationship, she fell in love with me. I would say that the feeling of being "saved" from toxicity like this contributed heavily to her falling in love with me.
