Why she is talking and not getting in her car is because this man followed them, the moment she unlocks the door, he's most likely going to try to get in, and that is terrifying. Like as she's talking, hopefully to de-escalate the situation and hoping he goes away on his own, she's most likely trying to psych herself up to be ready to quickly open and get in the car before he has the chance to grab the door. He's literally not backing away and leaning on her car, he's waiting for her the unlock it. The sad thing is, almost every girl or woman watching this has had similar experiences. I’ve had multiple people try to follow me home. I’ve been harassed by multiple men who were driving past me while I was walking home. I even had one guy pull into the driveway right in front of me! It was terrifying.

As a mother who has raised Three daughters. Girls are taught to be nice. They shouldn’t have got him a Lyft ride or thanked him for the drinks. Definitely better to be perceived as mean than as a tragedy. My sister, cousin, and I watched my mother beat a drunk guy down in a bar parking lot several years ago. He tried to take her keys from her hand after following her out of the bar (us being there at all is a different story). He followed us out when she decided to leave because he wouldn't leave her alone. Both of their grips on the keys gave her leverage, her pipe yard job gave her strength, and the big rings she wore gave her extra stopping power. Her steel-toed boots made sure he stayed down. The whole situation never should have happened, but at least we made it out alive.

My feeling is that anyone worth entering into a relationship with, should first and last be kind, decent, thoughtful. What someone looks like, and I always assumed for many others, is tangential. However, I suppose there is a cunning and superficial sort of person, who will assess a woman, or a man, and aim to exploit them, based only on what they look like. That's an indictment of those people. I have gone out with lots of women, from all over the world, and of all different types of physical appearances. I can never compare any of them based on physical attractiveness, but only on their personalities, because that's the true precursor to physical attraction. Even in terms of simple lust, it's hard to maintain any sort of desire, at least for me, without any knowing who the person is. Because if you look at a person and consider them physically attractive without having an attractive personality, it is almost like looking at a model, or a celebrity. Something like this happened to me. I was with a friend of mine when some creepy ass man started to hit on us and the worst part was that my friend wouldn’t stop talking to him when I told her a million damn times to go away from him. Keep in mind that we are minors and this guy was in his early 20s. Ladies, please don’t talk with any strange people and ignore them.

They spoke to him way too long. They didn't owe him an explanation and they sure as shit didn't need to give him the opportunity to tell his sob story where he tried and failed to make himself out to be the victim. He might have even tried to squat and never leave and if you want to make his intentions even more sinister he could have killed them. I've worked at a gas station very bad neighborhood for years and seen more than two hundred uses of mace/pepper spray. Upwards of fifty percent of men walk straight through pepper spray, no effect. Another third were still able to get off an attack before it hobbled them. It is not really useful at all especially the way TV/movies makes it seem. It does sting for hours afterwards but depending on pain tolerance it is useless. I've never seen anyone walk through a gun though and most times it doesn't even need to be fired. There's a lot of creeps and thugs out and about so training yourself with a firearm is a must for women unfortunately. Don't rely on pepper spray

Me and my best friend were walking back to my house from his house and ran into a dude like this when we were around 13 yo or so and it was around 3am on the west side of Cincinnati. Guy had on those exact kind of glasses too (obviously wasn't this guy, our situation was in the 90s). He kept following us and every once in a while we would stop and look back and he was mirroring our stops and wasn't saying a word. Being raised in a culture of "don't call police on people, handle things yourself, old school tactics lol". He was getting closer and we had just lit up some smoke and were passing back and forth and trying to keep an eye on how close he was getting. We kept hearing scuffle getting faster and knew he was going to try something, but wasn't sure, so we kept trying to get a look to see if he had anything in his hands and couldn't really tell. We get to my street and turn the corner and a few steps later, he grabs my friend on his shoulder (not too hard or anything) and as he started to get out the words "hey fellas, you got a light?", I hit that man as hard as I could in his mouth and dropped him, when he hit the ground he dropped a Rambo size knife that he had tucked in his watch band so we couldn't see it. I got on top of him and started doing my best while my friend kicked the knife to the curb and started kicking the man in his face and wherever he could. I kid you not, when we felt that we made our point and got up there was a Cincinnati bicycle cop getting off of his bike and ran over to us and said he saw everything and then other cops showed up. I'm not going to lie, we were crying and shit because we thought that we killed him and that we were going to be locked up, but believe it or not, one of the cops drove us home and before he let us out of the car he said "dont think i couldn't smell what you boys were getting into, don't let me smell it on you again" and laughed, then talked to my mom and didn't say a word about the w**d. We didn't have a car to get into like this video, but I do know the feeling, somewhat lol. I don't understand why in the hell you girls out there dont carry a pistol or at least a blade and pepper spray. I can laugh about my experience now, but things could have gone so much worse than what it did. The lessons here are to really consider arming yourself and that goes for either gender, you can't play around with people these days, you girls are very lucky this time. I don't want to hear the excuses like "I'm too scared to have a gun, or you wouldn't feel like a good person or guns only k*ll people". Damn right they k**l people, that's the point. The great equalizer. And also, don't try to kidnap or creep on hood boys at 3am lol. I joke a lot, but please protect yourself by any means, the world does not love you and people don't attack you with belly tickles and nerf guns. Be smart, not a victim. Yeah especially depending on what kind of keys you have if it's the little clicky button ones it unlocks all the doors. So he'll have every door to choose from to get into the car. If it's the regular old school handheld key that takes too long and you're not going to get in quick enough.
@@deannas2778 I have a key fob that automatically unlocks my car when I stand at the driver or front passenger door (which will really help in an emergency if I’m trying to quickly get in my car). I had the option to let my fob automatically unlock all four car doors when I get in, but I set it in my settings to only unlock the front two doors for this exact situation. No way in hell I want some dude following me to jump into the back while I’m trying to make a quick escape. It’s a little bit of a hassle sometimes when I’m with friends and I have to unlock the back doors from the inside, but I know the 1% change of it saving my life makes it worth it to have everyday.

Toyotas have that horrible feature of unlocking all of your doors whenever you put your car in park which is extremely dangerous if you are not immediately safe to get out of your car at that moment, or if you are in a drive-through line at a pharmacy or fast food place. But the good news is that all you have to do is take your car to the dealership or to a mechanic who specializes in Toyota‘s or whatever brand of car you have and tell them to go into the car’s computer and turn off that function. I had that done on my new car immediately. So I know for a fact that it can be done.

Years ago a friend of mine and myself were at a liquor store and a couple of guys kept talking to us. They kept asking us to go to their house on and on. Anyway, we got creeper vibes and hopped in my car. Not fast enough apparently because these guys started following us. I kept turning and going in circles, they were definitely following us. They did everything I wouldn't have. I would have told him to leave and then slowly, very slowly while the camera was filming him (proof that I wasn't trying to commit vehicular manslaughter.), inched my way out of the parking space and then when the coast was clear, sped out to ticket gate and warned the gate keeper (if there was one--their should be an attendant or two always, especially at night.) about disturbing acting man, I would have embellished, trying to get into women's cars and harassing them, then drove to the freeway and drove around just incase being followed (he might have had accomplices.) for maybe a half hour. Definitely better to be perceived as mean than as a tragedy. My sister, cousin, and I watched my mother beat a drunk guy down in a bar parking lot several years ago. He tried to take her keys from her hand after following her out of the bar (us being there at all is a different story). He followed us out when she decided to leave because he wouldn't leave her alone. Both of their grips on the keys gave her leverage, her pipe yard job gave her strength, and the big rings she wore gave her extra stopping power. Her steel-toed boots made sure he stayed down. The whole situation never should have happened, but at least we made it out alive.

I am in a relationship with a woman who is beautiful, because she is funny and brilliant. I actually think those attributes make her beautiful, so, I can't really look at her objectively and see her through the lens of another person.
She is caring and affectionate, assertive and curious. Those factors trump anything else. If her face had been burned off, and she was physically disfigured to the point of being unrecognisable, but she didn't change her personality, I would still love her, because, she'd be the same person.
My feeling is that anyone worth entering into a relationship with, should first and last be kind, decent, thoughtful. What someone looks like, and I always assumed for many others, is tangential.
However, I suppose there is a cunning and superficial sort of person, who will assess a woman, or a man, and aim to exploit them, based only on what they look like. That's an indictment of those people. I have gone out with lots of women, from all over the world, and of all different types of physical appearances. I can never compare any of them based on physical attractiveness, but only on their personalities, because that's the true precursor to physical attraction.
Even in terms of simple lust, it's hard to maintain any sort of desire, at least for me, without any knowing who the person is. Because if you look at a person and consider them physically attractive without having an attractive personality, it is almost like looking at a model, or a celebrity.
You can tell they have regular features, but you never think about going out with them. Because you don't know them.

Being harassed sucks for anyone. I have been harassed by men and women..the women would grab certain parts of my body, or would shout things out at me which made me embarrassed.
But the men, they would attack me. I think being harassed by a female stranger can be surprising and off-putting, but being harassed by a male can be dangerous. I was actually beaten by 3 guys who robbed me and took my phone.
I dislike those who harass others. I hope, too, that if you're dating or looking for a man, he will first try to get to know you. Over the course of a few dates, for example.

I've worked at a gas station very bad neighborhood for years and seen more than two hundred uses of mace/pepper spray. Upwards of fifty percent of men walk straight through pepper spray, no effect. Another third were still able to get off an attack before it hobbled them. It is not really useful at all especially the way TV/movies makes it seem. It does sting for hours afterwards but depending on pain tolerance it is useless.
I've never seen anyone walk through a gun though and most times it doesn't even need to be fired.
There's a lot of creeps and thugs out and about so training yourself with a firearm is a must for women unfortunately.

Me and my best friend were walking back to my house from his house and ran into a dude like this when we were around 13 yo or so and it was around 3am on the west side of Cincinnati. Guy had on those exact kind of glasses too (obviously wasn't this guy, our situation was in the 90s). He kept following us and every once in a while we would stop and look back and he was mirroring our stops and wasn't saying a word. Being raised in a culture of "don't call police on people, handle things yourself, old school tactics lol". He was getting closer and we had just lit up some smoke and were passing back and forth and trying to keep an eye on how close he was getting. We kept hearing scuffle getting faster and knew he was going to try something, but wasn't sure, so we kept trying to get a look to see if he had anything in his hands and couldn't really tell. We get to my street and turn the corner and a few steps later, he grabs my friend on his shoulder (not too hard or anything) and as he started to get out the words "hey fellas, you got a light?", I hit that man as hard as I could in his mouth and dropped him, when he hit the ground he dropped a Rambo size knife that he had tucked in his watch band so we couldn't see it. I got on top of him and started doing my best while my friend kicked the knife to the curb and started kicking the man in his face and wherever he could. I kid you not, when we felt that we made our point and got up there was a Cincinnati bicycle cop getting off of his bike and ran over to us and said he saw everything and then other cops showed up. I'm not going to lie, we were crying and shit because we thought that we killed him and that we were going to be locked up, but believe it or not, one of the cops drove us home and before he let us out of the car he said "dont think i couldn't smell what you boys were getting into, don't let me smell it on you again" and laughed, then talked to my mom and didn't say a word about the w**d. We didn't have a car to get into like this video, but I do know the feeling, somewhat lol. I don't understand why in the hell you girls out there dont carry a pistol or at least a blade and pepper spray. I can laugh about my experience now, but things could have gone so much worse than what it did. The lessons here are to really consider arming yourself and that goes for either gender, you can't play around with people these days, you girls are very lucky this time. I don't want to hear the excuses like "I'm too scared to have a gun, or you wouldn't feel like a good person or guns only k*ll people". Damn right they k**l people, that's the point. The great equalizer. And also, don't try to kidnap or creep on hood boys at 3am lol. Yeah especially depending on what kind of keys you have if it's the little clicky button ones it unlocks all the doors. So he'll have every door to choose from to get into the car. If it's the regular old school handheld key that takes too long and you're not going to get in quick enough.

I had the option to let my fob automatically unlock all four car doors when I get in, but I set it in my settings to only unlock the front two doors for this exact situation. No way in hell I want some dude following me to jump into the back while I’m trying to make a quick escape. It’s a little bit of a hassle sometimes when I’m with friends and I have to unlock the back doors from the inside, but I know the 1% change of it saving my life makes it worth it to have everyday.

Toyotas have that horrible feature of unlocking all of your doors whenever you put your car in park which is extremely dangerous if you are not immediately safe to get out of your car at that moment, or if you are in a drive-through line at a pharmacy or fast food place. But the good news is that all you have to do is take your car to the dealership or to a mechanic who specializes in Toyota‘s or whatever brand of car you have and tell them to go into the car’s computer and turn off that function. I had that done on my new car immediately. So I know for a fact that it can be done.

I would have told him to leave and then slowly, very slowly while the camera was filming him (proof that I wasn't trying to commit vehicular manslaughter.), inched my way out of the parking space and then when the coast was clear, sped out to ticket gate and warned the gate keeper (if there was one--their should be an attendant or two always, especially at night.) about disturbing acting man, I would have embellished, trying to get into women's cars and harassing them, then drove to the freeway and drove around just incase being followed (he might have had accomplices.) for maybe a half hour. Oh, if I got the chance I would have emptied my pepper spray in is eyes. I should carry a few, or a mega size in the car.
