I "HAD" a friend that took selflies with me while I was unconscious after a almost successful suicide attempt and post the pictures in Facebook tagging me in it. So not only did her friends, people I don't know, see the condition I was in at one of the darkest and lowest times of my lif, but because I was tagged it was on my fb as well for my family and friends to see. I was unconscious for a few days, and then still hospitalized for about 4 more days after I woke up so I had absolutely no clue as to what she had done, and had not discovered the fb post until I got home. So it was far to late to do damage control. I was humiliated. I had nothing to do with her after that. She disgusts me!

that boyfriend seemed absolutely panicked, it made me really emotional. It has gotten a lot better with time but my wife absolutely panics when something falls, spills, or breaks. Therapy, time, and a lot of hard work on their end has had some amazing results but it still breaks my heart every time I see a flash of fear. I hated that clip so much. He was distressed and she just enjoyed his fear…nothing in the world could ever make me intentionally induce a trauma response from my wife. Just typing that made me feel ill.

The last time I went to the hospital, back in 2016, I visited my grandma. There were signs stating to not use phones around the patients, whether relatives or not. You know, because common courtesy is an actual thing.
Sadly, common courtesy, like common sense, isn't common anymore. The fact is: the lowest common denominator rules the world now and it just gets lower everyday, thereby dragging those of us with common sense and common courtesy into extinction.

When I ended up paralyzed on a hospital bed 14 years ago, I fell into deep depression. Some of my friends actually wanted to bring cameras into my room and take selfies with me. I downright said no. Trust me, the last thing someone wants when they're either fighting for their lives or going through depression when they're on a hospital bed is for people to take pics and videos for social media to see. Let them have their dignity.

I told her it was her fault for raising them in that environment. She’d call me crying when he hit her (husband) and I didn’t pity anyone who had every way out and chose being beaten. There comes a point where you have to hold someone accountable for the choices they make and understand they are victimizing themselves. I understand there’s some phycology behind some of it. I lived my fears out at 16, having to put up with it in school. Soon as summer vacation hit and I didn’t have to fear being beaten in the bathroom at school I ended it. When we went back he was telling everyone I was accusing him of it when I was too drained to want the problems that came with telling people. I learned quick it’s a self confidence problem and isn’t mine to solve. But I got myself out as soon as I could. They look for weakness and I decided I had enough problems with myself to be beaten on top of it. I guess that’s why I just don’t understand some people. I’m more of a go solve yourself person and expect to be called out on my bs as well.

I almost took him back as well, because ending the relationship felt more draining than being in it. It took over a year to get him off my case. Unless you have been in that situation, it's hard to understand it. The abuser makes the breakup extremely difficult for you. I feel for anyone stuck in one.

One pet peeve of mine is people putting their things in places where its bound to fall and break. She wouldn't have gotten an apology from me. She would have gotten a negative reaction without me even knowing it was a tik tok and a worse one if I found out it was.

The girl who took back her abusive ex will learn. Been there done that. It WILL get worse. My ex husband beat me to a pulp and broke my nose, cheek bone, eye socket, jaw, knocked my teeth out, gave me a concussion, the list goes on. I lost so much blood that night I nearly died. Called 911 ten times and they never showed. Woke up in a hospital fighting for my life and survived. The detectives said it’s the worst case of abuse they’ve seen in 22 years. She needs to run while she has the chance.....

To be honest tiktok itself isn't that bad. It's just that for some reason the dumbest things become popular. Then the dumbest people try to become popular. Most tiktok videos are tame, but the deep end is quite a ways down.
