    I like Reed. I didn't expect him to play much more than 5-10 minutes a game at Kentucky. I also didn't expect him to do much in Summer League. His basketball savvy is amazing and when his body catches up with his IQ, look out. The guy just makes the right play, almost every time. He will be top 20 in steals as a rookie also be top 10 in 3-point percentage. Just wait.

    As a rockets fan I would have to say the two best young cores is hou and Okc with the nod going to Okc because of SGA but we’re not far behind.

    Love the rockets. But might have too many young players with lots of potential. Gonna be hard to give minutes to everyone unfortunately

    OKC was just lucky with Shai trade. Without him, they r not impressive.

      I agree. Rockets core is a lot more talented and I keep telling people that.

    • @egask2
      @egask2 3 місяці тому

      Without shai the thunder have almost exactly the same team as the rockets. What are yall even talking about. We have a great young core, OKC is objectively better. We don’t have to lie and hate on other teams to prop ourselves up, we will get there with time

    • @egask2
      @egask2 3 місяці тому

      Even if you take SGA out. Objectively, Chet > Sengun and Jwill > Jalen green. Both are close but OKC edges us right now. Where our young guys beat their young guys is 3-7, and our vets are pretty much equal imo. If healthy OKC would finish in the 6-10 spot without SGA, take a guess where we’ll finish this year. And if you add SGA to our team we’re clearly top 3 just like them. So if you think they aren’t impressive without SGA then we ain’t bout nothing either 😂

    • @egask2
      @egask2 3 місяці тому

      Additionally, saying Sam Presti was lucky with the SGA trade is like saying Barry bonds was lucky to hit homeruns, or plants are lucky to have photosynthesis. That’s just what they do. First Durantula, The Bearded One, Beastbrook, Serge, Jeff Green, and Sefelosha now this and you say the man is lucky? No no no lol we are lucky he let harden walk to us which caused KD to leave, ended the greatest dynasty that never was, gave us an opportunity to be relevant, and let us witness one of the greatest scorers to ever touch a basketball 👀😉

      @@egask2 man, u r delusional. u underestimate shai's role and capacity. without him OKC would barely be play-in team.

    Jalen Greene getting benched in his 3rd season. One good month against a weak schedule. After that weak schedule his numbers dropped considerably against better competition. He got benched again against GSW when the Rockets trying to get to the playoffs.

    • @ChampionTalk313
      @ChampionTalk313  3 місяці тому +2

      he’s 22/23 bro that’s normal for a younger player, and against weak competition or not, it’s still the NBA and his team was playing for something, and on that run they faced teams that was trying to get into the playoffs or keep a spot

      Jalen getting traded

    • @farhan007
      @farhan007 2 місяці тому

      The other Rockets must have been booty cheeks that month of March because during that 13-2 month stretch, Jalen Green was the only player on the roster where when he rested on the bench the team had a negative pt differential which was -6 per game. That's right during a 13-2 stretch, the 12 minutes a night Green was resting the Rockets had a -6 pt differential per game in those 12 minutes and no other player on the roster had a negative pt differential that month when they were resting. even when Fred was resting on bench, the team had a positive pt differential that month.
      So when you insult Green for carrying the team that month, you ironically without knowing are insulting guys like Amen because again, the team was booty cheeks when Green was resting for that month.
