My rescue cat was not diagnosed with IBS/IBD but when I got her she had stinky farts all the time snd diarrhea and vomiting. Right away I switched her to a good commercially made raw food snd the farts and diarrhea stopped. She vomits on occasion but rarely. The shelter vet sent me home with food that just made her so sick. It was food designed for pets with hair balls. She has never had a hairball once in the past year. She is an odor free cat. Now I make her own and supplement with a good frozen raw now snd then if I don’t have time to make her food. But she def does better in my homemade food. Her fur is so much softer. Her eyes are better. She had bad conjunctivitis in one eye that the vet said would not likely ever go away. Now I can’t even see it. I give her a multi enzyme and probiotic everyday. She’s such an energetic and healthy cat. Hooray!
Amazing, thank you so much, my French bull dog is having digestion issues, I already took him to the vet he did all the tests for parasites and viruses and he came out clear. They did not recommend anything 🙄 he only said he Should be okay and to bring him back if it continues. So frustrating because he os loosing wait now am giving him pedialite and kefir for the probiotics 🤞🏼
My dog has has IBD for over 4 years. We have been to all kinds of Vet's he is doing better, but I feel that he should be in a better place. I tried finding where to click on for more information on a fresh cook or freezed dried.
My dog is/was raw fed and still got diagnosed with IBS. 🤷🏻♂️
Have they checked for parasites, infection or done a biopsy to rule out other causes? Sometimes they need to go on medication.
Vaccines, heartworm medicines, antibiotics, and topical flea medication can all trigger it unfortunately. So raw food is best because it doesn’t have the harmful fillers and chemicals, but you have to avoid other sources of chemicals too.

What easy recipes can you recommend for a cat that has IBD and had a coloplexy surgery? My cat walks around and just involuntary poos (he wears diapers on and off). I need to switch him to a raw diet, but all these supplements and special vitamins mentioned aren’t available in Qatar. Please help
You act like your food is going to be liked, while part of IBD is pets will reject many foods.

I called Mercola’s customer service to get info about the product.

They had 5 billion CFU were as the Doctor mercola had only 3.3 billion CFU.
