While I haven't yet found a better solution, you need to remember that it's important to keep certain video files as they are, since some videos need to be certain filetypes to retain certain data they have (MKV can have multiple audio tracks while MP4 *can not*). Keep this in mind when using handbrake, and also realize that you might be removing quality or creating a file that's bigger than the original, depending on the bitrate you set, as well as changing special colorspaces and/or datasets in the file. Just keep these things in mind, watch your filesizes, audio tracks and all of that before using this.
Okay so I took high resolution video for a video project for college class and it was on the highest settings possible for my phone when I email that to my personal email and name the video file accordingly like for example video one it said video one. GPP is there anyway I can fix this in DaVinci resolve so it will show up without making it an audio file because for some reason the video is still there when I play it in the media player but in DaVinci resolve it just plays as audio?
