It's funny that Tiff says he's not good with teams, when he was the leader and the main selling point of JLD when it first popped up in New 52 up until it was canceled and they just gave him his own book.

I loved Witching Hour. Such a cool idea and near flawless execution. I definitely suggest reading it... after watching this episode of course
What's kinda funny about Circe in this, Liam Sharp redesigned her for Rucka's rebirth run but in a Justice League story that came out after Circe's reintroduction but before this, she had her old New 52 design. Circe changing her appearance during this story was a cleaver way of explaining why she looked different in Justice League than she did in Wonder Woman.
InoMercy her design was actually changed after Ruckas run as well in the trinity book!
@@sweetexorcist7322 Trinity was actually what I was talking about. And It wasn't Liam Sharp, but Bilquis Evely who redesigned Circe. I got some of my information mixed up.
I was literally refreshing my feed for like 10 mins waiting for this upload. Guys I need help. I've listened to every episode multiple times (I'm in the 20s for a few) and yet I cant get enough. This show is like comic crack. AND I DONT EVEN READ COMICS ANYMORE(eh maybe a few)
@Nitro Vision it really is. but it is over the course of like 4 years. But sometimes I just let the playlist go on for hours at a time and do stuff while I listen.
It's Over 9000 Productions I do the same thing tbh, when I can’t think of anything else to watch I’ll start up the playlist on shuffle in the evenings before bed to unwind and usually get a few in before I fall asleep with it still on 😅 oh well, doing my due in getting the watch count up

Watching The Wiching Hour at the witching hour is such a sweet thing, a swamp thing indeed! (Donovan soundtracks all over the place, sorry now I will have to intensely control my preposterous enthusiasm for this extraordinary episode of BI. exit mushroom trip Alan Moore ). I appreciated Peter Milligan's and Jeff Lemire's JLD runs, those books helped me to hold off the nostalgia of the Hellblazer by Jenkins, by Ennis and above all the Gaiman's one ; then i stopped beacause minutiae and circumstances: thanks again guys for giving me the excuse to jump in. Have you ever thought of dedicating an episode to some small, perhaps contained, raid, of the most disgruntled supernatural investigator in the history of comic books, John Constantine?

I am surprised that Tiffany didn’t mention at the end, when she was discussing the name “Witching Hour,” that back in the 70’s DC was publishing a Horror Anthology series of the same name.

But I member it was a pain pulling these as my LCG is terrible at pulling comics. They repeated it in Drowned Earth and the Terminus Agenda 😂

Tiffany is TOTALLY right about the Banana thing, they open them from the bottom by pinching the black nub (I guess that would make it the top??). When you open the banana with the stem, it mashes the banana, and you get all the "veins" on it as they attach to the bottom of the banana (again, top???)

Really liking Justice League Dark
I'm pretty sure I described this story as DC's Last Days of Magic when it was coming out, and I may have been a little off in that assessment. But I really dug Last Days of Magic, so I enjoyed The Witching Hour too. Which I think was the title of a DC horror book back in the '70s.

I remember being subscribed to Justice League Dark and realised I got dropped into a multipart story (twice with the last issue I read being some sort of Winter themed story).
Honestly? If I felt like something big was about to happen and CONSTANTINE showed up, I’d run as fast as possible in the other direction.
