I like it that when the suggestion comes-up to start a gang, Tiffany begins snapping. As if to suggest the first thing she thinks of when she hears gang is _West Side Story_
.....just one time I want to be involved with a choreographed dance fight that includes snapping. Just one time!!! 😉
I love how Tiffany went all Westside Story as soon as Sal mentioned forming a gang.

I busted out a pair of 3D glasses for this one, and holy cow it wokrs! I thought the computer screen might effect it but it works pretty well! :)

I cannot stress enough how funny this episode was. I was laughing out loud.
Time to drop everything. Something important has come up.
About 15 minutes in, I had to re-start it, and go find a pair of 3d glasses in a movie case from around the same time, and watch it again from the start.
The 3D works really well, even over the phone.
Surprised, after watching this and thinking about it, that the 90's never gave us magic eye comics.

When I bought these hard plastic 3D glasses at the flea market, I knew the day would come eventually.
Now all I need is the floppies for Superman Beyond 3D because nothing that collects them uses the 3D version.

This was reprinted in black and white in the DC Universe By John Byrne book. In case anybody wants to ever read/look at it without needing the glasses. I always felt it was kinda bonkers but the art is amazing.

Free idea: A Batman: Brave and the Bold 3-D episode with a Plastic Man team-up. Or Elongated Man. Or... you know what, just re-do Identity Crisis with a 3-D treatment. That'll work.

My first thought before watching this episode: they should’ve had Grant Morrison write this. There could be extra dimensional gods and cool and interesting Flatland stuff with Batman being like A Square. I would read the hell out of that.

Hahaha! Zzxjoanw was a fake word that was slipped into a music encyclopedia in the early 1900s. Though this comic may have come out before it was revealed as a hoax, but I still find it hilarious.
looked it up on Ebay, it's much cheaper if you look it up as Batman John Byrne, I typed in Batman Ego Trip and only found a few items that were 21 bucks. You can get it for roughly 15 bucks.
I got that graphic, and I read it, but I barely remember it.
Remember when they did Nightmare on Elm Street part 6, freddy's dead, in 3D....or rather..just the end. not the whole movie...just the end sequence. and i think friday the 13th part 3 was 3d. and jaws 3. whats with horror films being the 3D innovators and kings in the 80s / 90s

This is a weird episode.
Explain
While Sal is trying to explain the book, we see Ethan just playing with the 3D glasses while behind him Tiffany is almost hitting herself with the book. It filled with small moments of people being distracted by little things that makes this episode weird in an enjoyable way. Sal is almost like an ambient sound to Tiffany and Ethan as they discover this old technology

The story itself (apart from unintentional slop ) is one big , pointless train wreck with several McGuffins -- it's bordering on self parody , ahahaha !
