@@gwenfarrales Nice. I am interested in the field, but I will shadow and see. I heard that programs would give more points to those who worked as dental assistants or at a dental office. I am nervous if I decide to go that route because it looks very competitive and challenging.
@@_brenda_30. it is very competitive just as it is with every other health care programs but you do not have to have any dental background to get into the program! I was not a dental assistant nor had any type of dental background before applying for the program. It is mostly grades and gpa that they really look at!
Yes! I started over a little 3 months ago. I will be uploading a video of how my first three months of being an RDH went and all my experiences, as well as advice and tips! One thing I will say now is that working for a dentist that cares about their employees and patients is the type of workplace that I highly recommend💜
