Amazing documentary! Thanks so much for sharing. So glad to see those bears are left alone to live their lives freely as they should. Such beautiful animals. May God bless and protect all the wildlife. Amen

I did not know 85% of Black bear diet was veggies. Good to know this knowledge from such a lovely channel. Living on Vancouver Island Canada I have crossed paths with the black bear on several occasions and never once felt fear. "I leave you alone and you leave me alone." It was a basic concept. They as us are just living their lives as best they can.

Don't be so naive, bears are and will always be a very unpredictable and dangerous animal. They can and do on a yearly basis attack, maul and even kill people without perceived provocation.

I agree. We once grew up believing bears (and wolves) were ferocious beasts lurking in dark cold forests and that would happily rip a person apart just soon as look at them, but that's just not true at all! They're peaceful creatures with a society that mirrors our very own.

Thanks a lot for your great documentary. As an English learner, I enjoyed the black bears' lives in Forillon National Park and also added a lot of new words to my vocabulary as following: jut into, boreal forest, easy feat, forage around, embryo, carry to term, dogwood, porcupine, hibernation, gestation, incisor, rodent, dilute, thicket, carrion, suckle, stake a claim, teat, wean, pester, hitch, tenacity, quill, prickly, embed, detour, berth, petulant, purr with, manicure, snuggle against, sniff around, scamper back, graze on, deflectable dandelion, orchard, resilient, wilted, vigilantly, cedar tree, flair, inextricable...

Thank you so much for this wonderful documentary.
There is nothing better in the whole universe than a mother's embrace.
The smell from her body, the sound of her heart, her caress.
    All mammals feel the same.
In all mammals the pain is indescribable when the mother is missing at the beginning of our lives.
Even if we manage to grow without her, the void in the soul will exist until the end.

I hate how life can be so hard on animals. For these it didn’t seem as hard, but it breaks my heart seeing animals having a hard time to just survive! It is and always was man’s job to care for the animals! Adam’s job was to care for the land and animals. Of course we’ve failed at the first given responsibilities. I hope one day when I’m able I can help more animals or a bigger scale!
Good job on this show for us of these beautiful bears!

It soothes my heart plus I learn a lot. I had no idea that black bears mostly ate berries, grass, roots, etc. Very interesting.

It's great that there are still places where bears are left to do their own thing and not be molested by people. It's also clever how they avoid the picnic areas during the busy season, other bears would just come poking around and try to get free handout.s
