The factory amplifier must stay in place for now when doing an audio upgrade.

The speaker lids numbers are available on the web site. Select a roadglide go to the bottom of the page. There will be a parts and accessories tab chick on. There will be 19 pages most of the speaker lids are in the first ten pages. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK CARLOS
That kit is not lid cutting kit. That kit I saw on website is for when you buy new lid from harley davidson with it already cut for you . But now you will have extra lids.
@charleslewis 9853 I don't believe that I said they were cut in kits. Carlos stated that he didn't even have access to the speaker lid part numbers and I provided him information to where he could get the part numbers. At no time was I referring that Harley had cut in kits. I said speaker lids.
Many thanks again for a very helpful and informative video. If I op for this model of Road Glide I see what I'm up for straight away, audio upgrade well before performance! I see that Rockford Fosgate have the video on the Harley site on how to install the saddlebag speaker connections along with how to connect to the bikes loom to run these speakers. One has to de-pin the connector under the seat to connect the speaker cables. As mentioned the separate purchase of color matched saddlebag lids, from H-D, is currently a requirement. Hopefully a cut-in kit will be available soon. Many thanks again Carlos.
Cut in kit should be here by summer
If you do one of our plug and play kits you won’t have to depin the harness . We send a new harness that runs from the fairing just like the 2014 - 2023 and our hole is much smaller than the one on the factory Rockford install.

So, can the fairing speakers be replaced with Hertz 6.5 2 ohm?
Carlos, what do you recommend for the fronts? I have the cvo with the upgraded 6x9s. Thinking the hertz neo or the euphorias. Maybe even the new cicadas.
Euphoria or the new cicada sound best in my opinion on the new Cvo
Went on the website… just bought a 24 road glide non cvo. Was looking for a package but all I saw as the cvo kit. Just would want to upgrade the fairing speakers will you guys make a seperate kit just for the non cvo?

If you are willing to cut the factory headlight bracket you can get 2 amps in the front.
I have a 800 and a 3000 on my 2024 Cvo
@@NVSAUDIO I don’t mind cutting bracket as long as when riding over all these potholes it doesn’t shake loose
@@buyck50 it’s no different than what we do on the 2015 - 2023 road glide to put in a xel amp rack. Trim the factory bracket and shave the top of the headlight flat .

Just picked up a 24 Road Glide (non CVO). Can u just upgrade the fairing speakers? Will the factory amp push them enough?
Not enough power , you will need an amp .

Have you measured the actual RMS output of the Harley Rockford-Fosgate 500w amp?

On the Cvo amp we measured 62 watts at 4 ohms

That amp has less power than
27 watts at 4 ohms 48 watts at 2 ohms per channel

I’ve tested it on my Cvo
