You can get same if not better sound with 2 6x9 in the lids, 2 6.5s in the fairing and 2 10” mid bass drivers and 2 amps. With either, cicada or hertz and they are weather proof.
That’s another way to do it as you said, , hundreds of bikes around me with different set ups
@@MossTheJockey yes but my way saves massive amounts of bag space as two amps can fit in the fairing. Less speakers in the bags. Less weight added. Personally I am trying to find more ways to cut weight on my 2024 cvo st. When they figure out how to kill the Rockford amp and use a good one I will then do an amp and cicadas in the fairing.
I agree. cicada ch in the fairing, hertz 690 in the lids and just 2-4 hertz tweeters along with 2 amps in the fairing . Sd 800.4 or 1200.4 to 6.5 and 6x9 and a 1600.1 or 3000.1 to run the 10s and he would have been on competition level for prolly same amount of money. He got a dope build but he could have gotten away with less speakers and amps hidden in the fairing with a dsp. I have an 8 speaker setup 4 6.5's ( upper and lowers), 6x9 in lids, and an 8 mid bass in the bags. 2 sd 800.4 running everything and I love it and shit on about 90% of systems I come across its just that 10% who run 10's who I just can't even touch due to the bass that shuts everything down.

Clean install. Wish we could hear it turn up cause I have the same bike and mine sounds that. Good with just the front t speakers it came with. I’m sure that thing sounds awesome turned up.

I been looking for a Cali build on one of these CVO ST’s. I know the setup sound good and crisp. Many people in these comments don’t understand how to just compliment or move on. Nobody does Harley better than the black culture. Haters gonna hate..

There are some artists that will let you use songs if you buy from Apple music. The guys from Mighty Car Mods, Moog, is one of those people.

Skar is junk audio, sounds good despite that but I wouldn't waste money on subpar audio equipment. Bike audio is not the same animal as car audio.
Swapping them is easy hard part done if they don’t last

Bike limits the sound when it is not running less you were able to disable that. But not sure why did to a CVO ST when teh bike was designed to be lighter for speed, should just did a regular CVO.

Because the 6x9s in bags are for words and bass there’s holes drilled where there mounted so sound can come out .. there 2 way speakers

If you going to ruin your performance and handling there’s way better ways to mess them up than 6x9s. Should’ve done lids , added amp in fairing and replaced fairing speakers. Go throw all those speakers on a old bike. JMO

I even put my Hertz Mille Pro 6.5 in the front and still nothing.
I went to a nearby Harley dealer to hear the Cvo with just the forward speakers.
It sounded pretty good but it utilizes the 500 watt amp.
Thinking of buying that for hopefully a improved sound experience.
It's approximately a $500.00 plus plug and play upgrade offered through Harley.
Say goodbye to the handling..😵

you can do 2 way but you already have 6x9 in lids with 4 more tweets (horns) in the bags i would do 1 8 in each bag hertz 200L run off a 1600 sound digital amp with Dubes bass knob@@MossTheJockey

There is a CERwin Vega amp under the fairing up front and Rockford still there is what we get signal off of

No we didn’t use RF….its Custom up front we used a Cerwin Vega VCU 84 600watt 4 channel
