  • Here, I sit down with the Halo delay pedal from Keeley Electronics. Is this the ultimate small-box delay pedal? Well... probably-there, I said it. Check out my full UA-cam video featuring the Halo here: • Using Guitar Pedals as...

It would have been nice to actually hear the thing.

The man speaks truth. This pedal does so much, but I have it on 1B and never touch it because it sounds so good!

They've might as well shipped the Halo with just the in and out jack sockets. Stays always on with the Halo preset.

Lmao so freaking true! I just got this pedal and turned it on and was amazed at the 1st present. Such an inspiring sound.

It would be helpful if you could describe how another delay might come close to emulating the airiness of that pedal.

I am in LOVE with this pedal. I thought what more can a company do to differentiate their delay pedals from the vast number of pedals currently on the market. I agree with this video. Factory Preset 1, the Halo preset is amazing. Yes, I also agree with one of the commentators here that you may want to lower the Level. Only after you’ve experienced this in stereo setup. Somehow this pedal sounds like it has reverb in certain settings. The Halo setting uses dual delay settings at quarter note and dotted eighth note with modulation. I don’t what Keeley did to design this pedal. You have to experience it. The Halo setting by itself is worth it. I have several delays including H9 Max. This pedal is intuitive to operate. I was jamming with a buddy tonight in his house. It was just him on bass and me on guitar. We did t play loud. My setup was a Fender ‘65 RI Twin Reverb and a Clone of a Fender tweed champ. BTW - Twin Reverbs sound awesome at low volume and they take pedals beautifully. IMHO this is the best Keeley pedal that I’ve ever played. No way I’m ever selling this baby.

you need to touch the levels on all the presets...it's set too high because it was set up for Andy using it with his expression pedal.

Okay... You have permission to touch the level knob. But just that one ; )

I agree with you 100%. I trimmed the level back and saved it as my personal preset.

Just bought one from GC. Too complicated and no point paying over $200.00 for one tone preset.

Should say Don't Touch anything, dont look at the pedal in Nigel Tufnels voice. 😅
