    Beautiful! Also that angled parting tool trick solves one of my problems, I have not been able to cut an acceptable underside of the cap before. Bowing to the Master!

    These sell like crazy at craft shows & art fairs. I make mine from Kentucky Coffee Wood (who knew they grew coffee trees in Kentucky???). Fun to make and good practice!

      @@rsauve999 its easy, cut with the heel of the skew. Cut with the downside corner of the skew...

    nice little mushroom. I'll give the "hairs" a go, haven done those on mushrooms yet. I like them plain or with some pyrography for the plates. have you had the chance to test my paste wax yet?

      Why would anyone laugh at a craftsman for making wooden art? Especially if they sell well. Sounds arrogant and snotty to me.
