Beautiful! Also that angled parting tool trick solves one of my problems, I have not been able to cut an acceptable underside of the cap before. Bowing to the Master!
These sell like crazy at craft shows & art fairs. I make mine from Kentucky Coffee Wood (who knew they grew coffee trees in Kentucky???). Fun to make and good practice!
nice little mushroom. I'll give the "hairs" a go, haven done those on mushrooms yet. I like them plain or with some pyrography for the plates. have you had the chance to test my paste wax yet?

Jawel, die maak ik ook regelmatig van allerlei takken die me toegestopt worden. De vorm is altijd juist 😃

@@GeraldJensen i thought they only did fried chicken there... 🙂
Very nice 😊
Thanks, Ronald - made one based on yours, but couldn't replicate the "hair". from NL (Canada).
@@rsauve999 its easy, cut with the heel of the skew. Cut with the downside corner of the skew...
@@ronaldkanne Thanks again, Ronald. I have another partially done still on the lathe - will give it a try. I'm impressed with the results so far. Bob

Ronald, what type of wood did you use that has that orange heart wood?
@@norbertkeim5202 it is Yew...
Is the wood dry or green?
@@gfsimmons1 somewhere inbetween. But in case of yew it doesn't matter that much...
Hallo Ronald
bei vielen unseren Drechslerkollegen wird man ausgelacht wenn man gerne Pilze drechselt
schönes Video👍👍
@@juk1233 lass sie lachen... mir macht es auch Spaß...🙂
Why would anyone laugh at a craftsman for making wooden art? Especially if they sell well. Sounds arrogant and snotty to me.
