The ANC and the wireless charging look nice, but the flexibility of the dongle with the Soundcore VR P10 is really helpful when moving from device to device. Would be nice to see one bud that brings all these features together at the $100 price point.
Eres el primero que veo que muestra la opción juego en la rog ally con estos audífonos, vi varios videos y simplemente ninguno hace una revisión con los software de la ally, ahora veo también que los samsung buds 2 pro, son compatibles con el modo juego de dolby... Saludos. Se ganó su 👍
When I first saw the earbuds I thought oh Donner Do buds with a longer stem and then when I saw the ear tips I thought the same thing. Really good tips by the way 😅 thank you for continuing to do these reviews much appreciated. 💯👍🇺🇸
They look nice. Apriciate the review, but bit odd that you say its great for gaming and media, but can find "much better options". Find it slightly contradicting since sound is essential, and many earbuds serve media well, gaming aswell to be expected to. Which would lead me to a question , what is the best wireless gaming earbuds? Dont think its to much to ask for to have great soun and gaming capibilities considering how long wireless earbuds have been out.
Love the case design, but man that stem is obnoxious and to not have full control. I think I will be sticking with the Soundcore p10(and extra dongles) for convenience, latency, and compatibility. At least until im lucky enough to get a Rog Ally. I appreciate your expertise as always
one thing i hate about different devices lately are those like 1/2 an inch cables .. like come on ... I may not like Jlab's built in cable (I have the Go Air Pop's) but some of those short cables are no better lol ... glad to see a company say at least include a 1ft to at most 3ft cable ... the SUPER tiny ones drive me nuts
I have apple air pods and they just dont work like I want them to in windows, I couldnt help myself i had to get these, Im a sucker for this ally and all things ROG. :P
I just snagged a pair of these for my Ally too and... Kinda B grade for me. My ears have been spoiled by my IE300s and LG T90s which both cost a decent chunk more but I'm not really a Multi-pairing guy, I hate when my bud's sound signal is pulled away from the device I'm focused on and I wanted a pair just for gaming,. In that respect the super low latency and mic that doesn't seem to swap codecs make them worth keeping around.
Appreciate you telling us about PC customization w Dolby Access app. Its all anyone would need w these bc you know, mobile gaming Suckss 😄 (unless its retro gaming of course) Just copped a set for 50% off 😎🤓
Is there a way to turn on earbuds RGB while using them in your ears? I’ve noticed the lights while they’re being in the charging case, which looks really cool. But when you take them out the lights turn off and I couldn’t find any options to enable them while being used.
@@ilikebmx405 tbh I can’t even tell the difference between the AirPods and the Cetra when it comes to sound coz probably I’ve only a couple of days. Plus I only use AirPods for my phone while I use the cetra on my gaming laptop and legion go. But, for me, the rog cetra fit well in my ear out of the box compared to the AirPods Pro that’s one positive thing I could say
bout the weirdest headphone I ever had to deal with. For one it come w two headphone displays so when you're using the headphones you can't use the mic. DONT BUT THESE HEAPHONES
Everything since Bluetooth 2.0 got worst I went from watching UA-cam on my phone with no lagg and now with newer Bluetooth it has lagg between the people talking and the Bluetooth

These sound TERRIBLE. Go with the Soundcore p10 muuuch better sound good lord. The passthrough charging wont work with the Ally but the sound and comfort is on another level compared to the Rog earbuds.
I wil never get it.. earbuds like this sound like every other pair of 10 bucks earbuds from back in the day.. and people still defend them and cal them good.. gtfo for around 100 bucks senheis and some other well known companies have absolutely amazing sounding earbuds. But I geus people like to pay for looks instead of quality
I think this type of wireless earbuds are designed mainly for gaming average for audiophile but decent enough for gaming and low latency. If you like great sounding earbuds mainly for music then always go with Senheisser,Sony,Audio Technica etc
These would be killer if they could connect to the PS5…. But no Sony being Sony and locking basically every Bluetooth earbud behind paywalls, dongles and ps©️
Sony is too busy with the portal manufacturing e waste.
Just get a cheap Bluetooth adapter for the ps5 or connect it directly to your TV, most TV's have Bluetooth these days.
Just upgrade to a pc then lol they don’t wanna waste their time with consoles
Is it really low latency on PC gaming, even if it's just bluetooth and doesn't have the usual 2,4 GHz dongle?
Literally the most important thing about gaming earbuds is latency and it was never even mentioned.
Yep. Crazy huh?
For the longest time I ask you to do a review of one of those and look u doing ❤

I was going to go with the P10s but the passthrough charging only supported up to 18w and I wanted to charge the ally while using them
How does your voice sound to other gamers? Have you received feedback as to whether your voice sounds clear or not?
Changing the silicon ear tip is like hell. It can test your patience and is the equivalent of playing elden ring.
Hahhahahahha omg. I thought it was just me
It got me stumped for a few minutes but once you figure out how to do it it isn't too bad
Just turn the cover inside out then press hard onto it.

Great review. Does the mic work in game on the Rog Ally?

How to make the RGB stripe on the earbud always on?
I'm not a fan of the stem style earpiece. I've never bought a pair. But I am seriously thinking about buying the Liberty 4 NC.
I copied your custom settings for the Dolby access, my cetras sound so much better
Could you possibly do a PC tutorial for those settings? That would definitely help me because im having some issues on my end
any magic? if so can u help me out? i juss bought mine and am not satisfied with the audio so much:(

For me personally, any earbuds that don't offer control over everything, I immediately write that brand/model off

Which is the best among these Ticpods 2 , Mobvoi ticpods ANC or Mobvoi earbud gesture all of them come at same cost please give me suggestion...
Ive got the P10s and theyre great. But you cant charge the ROG Ally through the dongle passthrough :(
Will low latency mode work on a vr headset like quest 2 or 3?
Does it affect the internet connection? I had wireless headphones but whenever i play online games, my ms/ping gets red
I don't own the Asus yet but I did buy these I love love love them
These are $64.99 on Amazon as of today (8/17/2024)
Got it for $50 at Best Buy

Do these have spatial audio?
Wonder how these compare to just using air pods pro for gaming.
AirPods are shit for gaming mate

What makes me laugh is the way "ROG Ally" sounds like he's saying "ROG ALLAH"

When i wireless charge, my rog centra have some noise...is this normal?
No
All that stem size and not full control. Sigh!
Noise canceling is trash prove me otherwise
