I like this type of cooking video vs the other with the food close ups and written instructions. I find your accent charming and makes me feel like the recipes are authentic Greek and not a pintrest recipe.
The food in this channel is usually quick and simple. All it takes to watch the video once and you more or less know what to do. I call it slow food, as opposed to fast food. It is a healthy food that is fast to prepare ;)

When I was a child we used to call this dish 'tomatoes with eggs' (translated literally from Greek).
A trick that I had come up with as a child was to put some crumbled feta on my plate and put the scrambled eggs on it so that it would melt by the time I ate it.
If you think this is a little heavy (especially for breakfast), it's also fine if you add a bit less onion which brings out the tomato flavour even more - it also has a livelier red colour.
Personally, I prefer not to scramble the eggs into the tomato immediately and prefer to leave them unstirred for about 3 seconds so that they remain their own colour (a bit) and then I stir them - this results in bits of egg being more prominent rather than Akis's uniform look - But this is only a personal preference.

Made this one... nowhere near as aesthetically pleasing as creamy English style scrambled eggs BUT as soon as you bite into it the flavours are amazing! Would definitely recommend it

I'll be trying this soon. It's not too far from shakshuka, but with different spicing and the eggs scrambled instead of poached in the tomato - onion sauce. Scrambled sounds better to me.

When I first make something I like to follow a recipe to the letter.] This was delicious! Very different from anything breakfast-wise that I've ever made. It was another hit of Akis' recipes!! Thanks...good to know. Menemen doesn't mean something in Turkish, but it's a name of a district in Izmir. They say that the people had lived there invented the recipe. And that's why it's called "menemen". But I don't know if it's true. And sorry for my english :)
