    I watched you build this model yesterday. I didn't comment at the time owing to difficulties in doing. I hope this goes through. When I was youngster my dad would take me with him from Jacksonville, NC to Kinston, NC tp get automobile parts needed in his garage business in the forties. Just down the streed was a shop that had a display of paper and balsa wood models of the B-109, FW 190 and a Stuka. I used to go to the store front where the models were and just marvel at the models. Your workmanship is perfect in every way. What great talent you have. just amazing! Later in life I flew the De Haveland (sp) CV2B Caribou, Otter, and Beaver and the Douglas DC-47 (US Army Parachute Team). I tthroughly enjoyed your post and appreciaate you letting everyone see your great talent. Thank you so much. I'm a 84 year old Vietnam Veteran and don't get to see the talent you showed everyone during that build. Weat whishes. Charlie

      Thank you very much for your kind comment. It must have been fantastic experience to fly these planes, and.. quite oposite in Vietnam.. Pleased to meet you and thank you for your service during that horibble war.

    Awesome Build! You rarely see the ones that aren't the light and dark grey scheme, so it was enjoyable to see you paint and weather it. Thanks!

    I have an ME 262. It’s a larger scale, super detailed, and I’ve been thinking of how to add the realism to the finish. Now I know. Thanks for including such details as the type and brand of your finishes. Fabulous job, model and video!

    The seat belts for an Fw go to the back deck not tucked behind the seat. I like how you applied your colors, really gave the Fw a used look. Beautiful weathering. Dio complements the model. Great job! Have you tried an earlier "Tan plastic" Fw Eduard kit yet? Plus for the kit, comes with a complete BMW 801, but that is the only plus.

    Hello,
    I would like to know
    (May be it's a mistake from me) why you did not put oléo strut in undercarriage airplane ? Is it a choice ? Something to ommit just ti go faster or lots of peoples did not see them so why cluing it ?
    When your fuselage is glued, you wait for (how long?) few hours and then you sand it down with paper and the edge of a blade but… What's to do when appear few days later a sort of retraction line in place of the seam line you have sanded??
    Thanks for your answers and please continue your Videos :)

    Very nice build, seen this video several times. I see you use Hataka gloss clear coat over Vallejo air. Is the Hataka a lacquer clear coat, and how do you get it to work on acrylic paint? Time between paint and clear coat layer? Again, VERY NICE butcher bird build!

    • @ScaleHangar182

      Lacquers work with acrylics and vice versa, never had any problems hovewer today I would just use lacquers only. I think I waited around 12 hour between the coats, because I dont trust acrylics, if I used lacquers I would probably coated after an hour or two

    Hi guys I’m wondering if anybody could help me, I’m fairly new to scale modelling and I’m currently working on a 1/72 typhoon. I painted about 3-4 thin layers on humbrol 30 and it came out really nice. However when I was rubbing some other paint off with a cloth I noticed that it had left slight peel or scratch in the paint work which had gone down to the original plastic of the model. What can I do? I’ve tried painting over it but it doesn’t seem to do anything. Hope this makes sense and any help would be appreciated :)

    • @StoneMustang
      @StoneMustang 5 років тому

      Scale Hangar 182 a brown watercolour for the camouflage pattern but it was a poor paint and did not settle very well. Update, I’ve painted over the little scratches with one of my fine detail brushes but I’d imagine I’ll need a few coats to fully cover it up. Thanks for replying :)
