Anyone know what that amercian classic eq is in the chain? Tried accessing it on my pod xt live but couldnt find it. All I got as far as ik is the built in parametric eq. Is tht only a feature on pod farm?
8:04 very, very well said. this is why people should fucking stop calling themselves "engineers" because they throw together ripped off settings in a shitty mix of their own stuff
To think to eq that cab to bring out that much hidden high end is insane. I would just try to find an IR with more high end to begin with but never get these kinds of results.
For some reason if I turn off my cab on podfarm and try to add an IR loader after it it just sounds weird and it seems like the clean di audio gets blended into the amps sim (like combined both at the same time) - and the ir loader seems to not get enough power even if I turn up the output on podfarm
have the same problem, i think thats the reason he puts the pod on high volume on amp and then put some more volume on the output on the pod farm on top corner
I used it live for drop F to drop C1 and it was the best live guitar tone I’ve ever heard. I even impressed Kataklysm’s live sound engineer, who was taking care of FOH at the venue.
A more realistic view of that would be the X3 Live. You need the Metal Shop add-on to have that specific amp on the XT Live. The X3 Live has all the model packs already built-in.
Not really a "plug-in" guy, but I can assure you the best amp for low tunings is the Randall SATAN (with any V30/T75 4x12 cab), especially with a Fortin ZUUL in the loop, plus a KMA Pylon (with or without an OD in it's loop), or a Precision Drive in front (assuming the amp is "stock"). Just turn up the "Sweep" knob the lower you tune. You can also try most popular tube amps (Mesa Dual or Triple Rec, Peavey 5150/6505, etc.) with a Pepers "Dirty Tree" in the loop of a KMA Pylon in front of your amp, getting a similar effect. Also, the right pickups go a long way: Lundgren M6, M7, or M8 Duncan Nazgul, NAGUS, or Jupiter 7 (or the Blackouts AHB-3, if you like actives), MojoTone Black Magic (6 or 7 string), BKP Juggernaut, Impulse, etc.
I don't know why you don't use Otto Audio, it's so much more brutal for low tunings. Pod farm is not bad but OA6 is just sicker and more modern sounding.
not to say otto is bad in any way but its hard to replicate that classic djent tone without that big bottom amp man its too good. and something about the 1111, idk to me it just doesnt sound mindblowing to me, the clarity is insane for low notes but its almost like a bit more lifeless or flat? compared to like the big bottom or something less ‘modern sounding’ which may make it more mix ready but the tones i like to hear are usually dirtier and less modern more like vildy and meshuggah - catch 33, which both used pod
i'm here for the second coming of podfarm
YES 😂
Progfarm
I'm okay with that
Podfarm with modern cabs is goated

6:45 "that's basically the tone", basically huh, that is BASICALLY the tone, this dude is insane hahahahah
Yeah my guy is like "just him into a whammy and interface" then proceeds to show a sht ton of EQ and processing lol
I bought a pod x3 because of Calle and co. and it’s pure rock and roll
I found really amazing the when he puts the delta and made that vocal effect hahahaha

It is a Class A Preamp Neve 1073 with eq section. But somehow in Pod Farm it is the secret sauce
Does urm give you material to help you mix and master even after your subscription is over? Looking to get into mixing and mastering my own music
Wats mike tysons favorite season?

make podfarm great again(?
I'm curious what the last pedal in the signal chain is?
It’s the pedal volume of podfarm
@@Fivenightstands Oh, so it's just volume?
@@TheCleansingx Yup, in a previous video he showed that it's just the volume pedal in Pod Farm
@ yeah,it has like a compression/limiting sound to the chain,I tested it. Sounds great on vocals too,a brick in the wall
haha, I discovered yesterday that Pod Farm was available for arm macs; i really missed it and probably missed to watch out for it. Love it!

I'd love to see someone A/B these settings with Helix Native
The correct answer is Otto Audio II II II II
Absolutely
This
That
Yeah exactly...more like Turd Farm

How does buster now have his own plugin by now?!
It’s in the works 👌🏻

My pod farm doesnt work in pro tools
Sounds like fartpedal.

1111 is just for UA-camrs.

Honestly, I've never seen anyone use 1111 other than UA-camrs and Instagram guitarists. I also think it sounds really eh.
Nowadays it's nothing 🆕️. Namastè.
I like my low tunings but.. no.
