this game gives me a feeling of nostalgia but also of a weird creepy undertone and loneliness.
maybe because there is no other humans in the entire game, and nobody says any words. also the fact that it's always in the twilight hour makes it creepy.

As someone who works in a place with these, there is far, far worse than even what is displayed here in the real world. I'm talking people standing there for upwards to an hour just constantly ripping and scratching tickets.
Very sad, literally preying on addicts.

Self-restraint is very rare these days, unfortunately.
@@connorpickens7523 You can't rely on self restraint with things that are designed to prey on human malfunctions, and our solutions to problems have to look at things in a systematic fashion, not individual. The fact is that no matter how much you try to teach "self-restraint", there will be people who will fail and we need to account for those individuals.
If you wanna know how useless "self-restraint" teaching is, look at the status of sex education in america and how much abstinence-only education correlates with teenage pregnancy. This isn't a failing of individuals, this is a failing as a species and it can't be corrected without intervention.

What a sad ending it fades out but you can still hear the ticket dispenser and the last thing you hear is the outcry of a gambling addict.
I’m convinced that this is the origin story of Mr Green.
Plot twist: The rich uncle is Mr Green, and he is spreading his corruption to the next generation.
Mr Green is like Jerma's Pyramid Head for his gambling addiction
Unreal ending, unedited leaving the arcade to go to the gas station only to buy back to back scratch tickets with a slow fade into the end card while he silently buys and scratches the tickets. Phenomenal.
As a clerk at a gas station, I can confirm that folks do stuff similar to what Jerma's been doing when it comes to tickets. I've had customers who stay in our parking lot and continue to come in and play for as much as three hours.
I live in Utah so that doesn't exist here fortunately. Gambling is illegal.
"FINALLY, 25$!"
*After spending 650$*
Same for me dude. And i work overnight where they turn the machine off. They arent even cashing on my shift! Most ive seen spent is like 6 or 7 benjamins over a period of a couple hours. Though i do have a regular who will show up and daily drop 200 or so
I was working once when a guy went to our ATM taking out $200 increments (the single limit for each transaction) and then putting it all down on $20 scratch offs… he’d lose it all or win $20 back, go to the ATM again, and lose it all… one shift he had to have dropped close to $3k.
Jerma cackling in confusion as a text-to-speech voice starts reciting verbatim a story he told in 2011 about his childhood is genuinely the kind of infinitely recursive hall-of-mirrors bizarre New Media emotional experience I come to this channel for

Holy shit, the editing here is perfect. It was edited like a feature film.
6:52 That genuine "Oh no.." as he realizes this is what he's gonna be doing the rest of the game
My favorite part is the exact moment he sees the scratch ticket machine he says oh no. It's like he knows exactly what is about to happen and his powerless to stop it. There's not even any desperation, it's just a sad acceptance. Had me dying
The ending bit was edited to perfection, idk if I've ever seen such a well-constructed bit on this channel
How about “Jerma must die” ? That was a really good stream and he waited a year to do that bit
I like that this game was just foreshadowing for his gambling obsession that would become relevant later.

Great entertainer he is

should he really abandon an item he had worked so hard for, all for a measly 90 dollars?

for so small of an amount of money that he could have earned through honest work?
was it worth losing potential viewers?

I've never seen him this broken before. the utter disbelief and silence at the end of the video is soul shaking
I know it's funny to joke about Jerma and all that, but I have just a minor hunch that he may, just may, have an actual gambling addiction.
He can’t go one stream without mentioning casinos or gambling
He did move across the country to Las Vegas
Dude we cant diagnose him by watching him play a $20 steam game _about gambling_ . He's mentioned he likes going to casinos but he's also mentioned his strategies to make sure he doesn't walk away empty handed for the day.
As long as no one activates his Mr. Greenz persona in an actual casino, he's fine. Utterly bankrupt if it does happen, though.

This stream was an actual fever dream.
I remember when my friends were addicted to thoose machines while in Italy and while I was in the arcade I looked at a fish game nobody played that had a huge jackpot that was easy to reach, I told one of them they are wasting their money on that one machine and should instead try this one, friend tries it and gets jack pot first try
They better have gotten you a cool spider ring or Chinese finger trap for that.
I can't be the only one that thinks that ending is actually... almost artistically depressing. A gambler finding out he lost it all over nothing, and at the end he continues gambling away the nothing he earned for the glimmer of hope he'll never reach. It's almost as poetic as a Paul Thomas Anderson movie. I think Jerma has a genuine talent for telling a good story, but it's almost a shame he can't do it on command.
the more we bring up the story about the bully the higher chance that guy will hear this
Wow, 40 thousand dollars. You can host your own carnival with this amount of money

Jerma "must be this tall to ride" Elbertson
The "pretend like I've been here for 5 hours" bit is god tier Jerma bit.
"Why do I choke on every third ball"
Well, most people only have two, so I can't blame you for not seeing the third one coming.
A few weeks ago, I had a serious flu that left me bed ridden and delerious for several days. My sleep schedule was completely destroyed and I spent several hours barely able to move enough to drink water. For entertainment, I barely got the energy to setup my phone with these coin game videos, and the sequence at 26:39 helped a ton. The "mermaid man, *wait!*" and jermas reaction to that made me laugh so hard that I threw up. Thanks mysterious video editor for including it in the highlights.
27:50 I like how he put it on hold due to the wording of the script, even to the point of thinking it was a fake when in fact it's on a real SpongeBob episode.
He hears the word “nut” and it activates his fight or flight response
As someone who just spent a year working at a gas station, I can tell you that Jerma's scratch off story was kind of a daily occurrence. Worst I ever saw in one night was a guy buy $360 worth of tickets and lose on literally every single one of them.
That hockey game was “jeremy walks into a dark train tunnel”
17:27 Add this to the list of times Jerma demonstrates legitimate superb acting skills. Can someone clip that entire bit out of context and make it seem like he was legitimately losing it? With a title like "Jerma Has Meltdown on Stream"
Everyone knows, “Blue Man Hoo-Ha-Ha” is the best jermaverse character.
The JermaCraft script being read by a robot made me realise how little sense Jerma makes when he talks
Just the visual of the floor in front of jerma COVERED in used scratch offs is so funny
Deranged middle aged streamer lives out childhood fantasies through video game, forces thousands to watch on in horror.
Spectacular voiceover in the intro
Psychotic chaperone halts entire field trip so he can win at basketball shot and gamble
BREAKING NEWS: Deranged lunatic kicked out of all casinos and hoards scratch off tickets to satiate his gambling addiction
I put the vod on for this and fell asleep a bit ago, and I remember waking up to the part of him pretending to freak out and was genuinely like "what the fuck is going on"
The idea that Jerma gave the double middle finger to a random kid and convinced himself that the kid was a bully that would beat him up and ran away in terror whenever he got to the bus stop while the kid thinks that he’s the bully is so funny.
How you know Jerma is about to do a really stupid bit:
Chat- “do this really stupid thing”
Jerma- “No! I... I CANT do tha...”
Jerma - *proceeds to do stupid thing*
That basketball game, I just realized the tilting side to side isn't just an animation, it's the angle the ball shoots at. That's why it was inconsistent when he "locked in" aiming at points. He keeps choking on the third shot because he's taking extra time to make sure and the ball is tilting the whole while, so it's changing the angle without him noticing.
I love how the ending fades out as he spends his last money on scratch tickets. It's like the ending to a Coppola movie.
The pure silence when he sells the Boombox tells an ENTIRE story
29:45 Why does "Hey you guys wanna watch some more TV?" have the exact same energy as "Hey wanna listen to some tunes?"
21:54 this is why we love Jerma lol. Going insane just for the fun of it even if it means ppl unsub or think he’s some dipshit. Like when he made his stream extra shitty quality with 'hypercam' while playing some fps pretending he was a botted streamer
Jerma has sunk to the level that he's doing _scratch tickets_ now.
He predicted the rotmaxing instagram reels tiktok youtube shorts videos with that text to speech talking over his arcade gameplay.
“I banned 42 people while doing this” fucking killed me
I can just feel the purest energy of defeat in that ending.
That ending is the most depressing thing ever.
Wanna hear Jerma and Woolie have an interesting discussion about the ethics behind puking into your shirt/girlfriend’s purse instead of puking anywhere else.
27:56 onward is putting me in actual tears tbh. Giving me a true ribbing honesty
“weweguhwgeuuwgheu” “WAIT!!” “shaKE” etc etc
to give credit to jerma, dizzy chicken is extremely addicting irl just cuz it’s about finding the sensitivity on each specific machine, once you’ve got that down it becomes almost completely skill based (not including any faulty sensors or anything like that)

The editor for this video deserves a big and hearty +2, for real, the editing is absolutely hilarious with the comedic timing and everything!

That has got to be one of the best 2ndJerma outros ever. Fantastic work there, editor!
I like that he pretended to have been playing the same game for hours when in actuality he had been playing the same TWO games for hours
