Does anyone here know how famous this guy was when he was kid in the 50s!?

Yeah, with his sis Lorrie and Joe Maphis back in the day. I guess he's too tired to dance like he did back then.

2:35 Larry Collins was very famous he was one half of a duo with his sister Lorrie Collins.
Also known as the Collins kids.

It’s actually quite easy if you’re using basic open chords. I do it and I only been playing for two years. What is tricky is playing a riff and singing at the same time like that song from Nirvana “come as you are” where Kurt plays the riff and he sings. Check it out 👉🏾 ua-cam.com/video/vabnZ9-ex7o/v-deo.htmlsi=RMaur6xJ4aRglOcw

I'm always fascinated by people that become 'famous' at a young age, and then never grow as an artist or musician because what they did as a child/teenager made them lots of money/fame.
Intellectually and artistically lazy and unimaginative.
I feel the same about Clapton; he learned 'everything he needed to know' by 19 years old, and never grew beyond what made him rich and famous.
Unlike Jeff Beck, John Mcglaughlin, Steve Vai, etc. Artists that continued to grow and learn as they got older, audiences be dammed.
Miles Davis was the quintessential artist, constantly growing and exploring new things, even if it alienated his fans.

And what have you done in your life?
Larry Collins, even in his death is impacting and inspiring people. Here he was at 70 years old, and still shredding to scare the devil at the crossroads. But it is easy for you to sit at your keyboard and shit on someone else's life.
And, yeah, by the end of my post, you might have seen me for the boomer I am.
I grew up watching, listening and paying attention to people like Larry Collins.
      "BuddyMohmed", never heard of you...
