- For the first time on UA-cam, Lorrie Collins full appearance on the January 22, 1958 episode of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet". It's entitled "The Picture in Rick's Notebook". Lorrie plays two roles: herself and her younger sister.
Lorrie smiling during this whole performance 😀
That beautiful Lorrie Collins from Oklahoma of course.
Never seen this before. Wow. Great performance.
Gorgeous couple.
My little sister use to sing this song when she was about 4 years old in the early 60's
RIP LORRIE COLLINS❤
they are so gorgeous, look at their faces
Yes the both were!
😢🙏🙏
I just love seeing them sing this duet! Their fondness for each other shows! ♥️🌹🌿 Loved them all in The 3 Bettys! Rick, Lorrie & Larry!
WOW WOW WOW I NEVER HEARD OF THIS DUO SONG OR PRETTY LORRIE
Ricky and Lorrie were two good lookin' people!
They surely made a great couple! ♥️

Imeline duett!
Lorrie Collins was a Rock-A-Billy Queen! Too bad these two didn't stay together!
I think the same thing.
Ozzie broke it up
@@Sunmoon-gj9gywhy Ozzie didn’t like her? I read that Ricky wanted to make her a regular on the show too, but Ozzie said no to that too.
@@KennyG_420 cause Ozzie was very controlling , he thought Laurie and her family were hillbillies and he wanted Ricky to marry someone from a "good" family like the Harmons
@@KennyG_420 because, just because
The cool kids wear suits and ties!!!
I'm pretty sure they were both holding back a bit, for TV in 1958...
He should have married Lorrie. He had a thing for her. Ricky wanted her as a regular on the show, Ozzie didn't like her, and said no.
Очень грустная история.
Why Ozzie didn’t like her? Bad influence for his boys?
Dommage, ils étaient fait l un pour l'autre , c'est une belle histoire mais qui n z pa durée
EXCELLENT🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Isso sim era musica!!!!!!!!!!
Amen!
Ricky was a handsome lad.
Yes, to the day he died.
Now they should have done that song much faster, after all she’s a Rockabilly hall of Famer and Ricky’s a rock star.
Maybe they slowed it down for the show. 🤷🏻♀️
@@cynthiaennis3107 No they just just started it out dragging.
While they make a good looking couple, you have to remember that Rick was 17 and Lorrie only 15 when they were dating. The odds of a sucessful, long term relationship would have been against them.
Isn’t it strange to see young kids that don’t look like thugs and actually act like they have some common sense, which most did, back then.
Because we didn't have our mummies running after us all the time. We were told to take responsibility for our actions
I sure wish things were still that way. What a better time.
It's wonderful.
Youre absolutely right so nice to see !!
No swearing. No gun violence. No gangs. No 'N' word this or that. No drugs. No sex or rape. No child abuse. Just pure musical talent.
Those tawdry things were behind the scene stuff I'm sure.
1958 ain't walkin' thru that door Whitey.
Que lindo recuerdos, agradable Familia ❤nunca los voy a olvidar y pueden volar 🕊️
This is the sanitized version. Listen to the original with her brother.
What they should have done is have little Larry Collins on this episode as well to really spice things up.......
There was talk for a brief time that Lorrie and Ricky would marry.
Until she ran off with Johnny Cash's road manager.
I wish he could have married her, maybe his life would have been different
I read Harriet didn’t approve and put an end to it, which may explain Lorrie impulsively running off with a man twice her age. Wish they’d been left alone to try. I hear such pain in Ricky’s later songs. And then there’s the way he died. So sad.
@@loreewills17 after this he wrote Don’t Leave Me This Way. He did a great job with that song! I’m sure his heart was broken from finding out she married another guy & had no idea.
@@marijooneill8015 I think so, too!
❤️😎❤️😻❤️👍❤️
Watched this TV show all the time..Just imagine if the future was without a murdered President and a war in Asia..
מקסים
Well that was certainly fun! Dont sing or play that way no more!
I wish I had had brothers to bring over a girl to share for the night.
😂
The only girls my brothers shared with me was flat chested... in Playboy!
This song had legs. Elvis recorded it, too.
Как жаль,что они не поженились...
Wow, the only version of this song I'd ever heard was Elvis' and jeez who knew the same song sang by two different people could make it so different.
The McGuire sisters do a good rendition of Just Because.
You should hear a polka version!
This version was to slow and I didn’t understand that at all.
@@ronniebishop2496 It was a Family Show. I’m sure Ozzie probably asked them to slow it down! They were getting some letters complaining about Rick singing that “devil music!” So...I’m sure they slowed it down for the show.
@@M4R1N4 I would LOVE to hear that!
What movie is this?
It's the Ozzie and Harriett TV Show...not a movie.
@@MDavidG1Okay. Thanks. I used to watch some of them.
What happened to Lorrie?
She passed away in 2018. Her brother Larry is still performing.
Larry just died this past week.
@@Blkojo😢🙏🙏
That sure was a better time than this.
amen to that !
Old Johnny Horton…
Español
The laugh tracks were horrible!
Where are the trans kids! 🤔
