“I have no desire to sell it.” Let me take this to a pawnshop...
Let me take this to tv show where I can get free publicity to later auction it for 20K
zeroryoko1974 yup exactly rick thinks he’s winning but he loses 50% of the time.
Why take it to a pawnshop though? Go to an auction house.
He said he doesn't need to sell it.
it's partially faked
Literally any coin **exists**
Rick: Yeah it’s the most collectible and Popular coin the United States
Speds “holy grail “
Yeah I was going to say the same thing, he says it about everything lol
They’re all mainly silver dollar coins, that’s why rick says that. Saying that silver dollars are the most collectible and popular
Appraiser: "A version of this coin sold for $20,000; It's worth $7000.00..." Wha?
Well, depends on the different denominations. He is right in a way.
Why does buddy look like he was reading everyone’s mind the entire time
Its bc that's his natrual look 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Do you collect coins?
He could BC the show is heavily scripted
It's all fake there paid actors
He's rightfully skeptical of people trying to low-ball him and is likely of a personality type that is more inclined to be skeptical of others' intentions.
The guy's look when the appraiser said 7000 , was worth a million bucks. I thought he wanted to choke with the coin.
🤗
Ive noticed this expert always low balls people
Source? 2 sold for 7050 each or a pair? What grades? This coin was professionally graded mint state 63. There are youtube vids on this coin going over $18000
4:13 got me creasing😂
Customers often highball. They often ask 5X, 10X, even 40X what their item is worth.
Jason Michael but not in this case, so why even comment?
this guy came in just to show off his most valuable coin lol "No intention of selling it"
Yep and now he ain’t gonna be getting anything more than $7000 what a complete dummy
@@fucker4166 the expert is quoting what he believes is a fair price on the open market, doesn't mean that someone won't pay more for it. It's all about finding the right collector.
james bloomfield must be nice to pull out $15,000 on a coin of course if I was rich no problem lol
Rubbish !!! He said he would let it go for 15,000 $ not a penny less. Rick just did not want to buy at his price.
im not saying this guy did but a lot of people act this way .... when they're guilty of paying more than what the item was appraised for ....
and will DEFINITELY say .... "its been in my collection i have no problem holding onto it" when they paid more than whats being offered when they try to sell it lmfao
Rick: gives 5 million details about the coin
Also rick: “I have no idea how much this is worth let me call a buddy who knows a little more”
Lol 😂
Exactly he knows every single detail about it except the price…
@@Denvermorgan2000 he knows what they go for he just brings them in for dramatic effect
This guy had no interest in Rick's history lesson.
Duke Wellington I’ll bet he gets his hair pulled a lot.
Oh ya he just had that, "tell me what you're gonna give me bald man."
I'm guessing that Rick and the others at the pawn shop have to do it because of the history channel
He already KNEW the history of the coin, and "history" doesn't pay bills.
At allllll.
Just ONCE I would love to see and hear a customer/seller say " I have a friend who knows all about this, wait a few mins and I'll have him over here."
That would be classic.
im sure he wouldnt allow it because his friend is there to rip you off. in a few minutes too. almost as if someone is putting on a costume in the back.
Yeah why go to a pawnshop when you already have a friend who knows about it and probably knows people who will buy..lol.. crazy idea but funny
@@aldrinmercado3475 may be the friend doesn’t have anyone who will buy it.
Rick doesn't owe the guy anything. If he wants to sell it Rick has to be happy with the price which is why he calls experts he knows. If the seller doesn't trust Rick and his expert than too bad and he can go elsewhere.
I think the coin expert is my favorite of all the friends and buddies. Seems like such a respectable and all around awesome dude.
Rebecca then him. The signature guy - the taller one who’s very serious is also pretty good. And the art guy.
@@dlew919wasnt the signature guy proven to be a scammer?
I like it when they start telling about the coins, as if they know everything and at the end of it is the magic word “ let me call my friend who knows about this” 😂
The seller looked like he was ready to fight everyone in that store after he was told the price. XD
His haircut makes his whole head look like a giant garbanzo bean. There, I said it.
Ahahahahhahaha man
Who Rick?😁
He looks like Count Olaf from A Series Of Unfortunate Events.
Dream Land he a creepy human
lmaooo i just started reading that series again and ong he looks exactly like count olaf lol
from the Netflix series?😂
Lone Wanderer yeahh
Lmfaooooooooo
Ok. Let me call a friend to wipe that smug look off your face.
Ur jealous cause he is good looking lets be real
Calls in trump*
I personally like the guy for sticking to what he wants. Very few will not negotiate here to a extremely low offer. Alot of Europeans are just like him. I don't mind some negotiations but the way Rick operates, I am happy to see others who wont and they will find the right buyer.
Support your Troops & Athletes - I’ll change one word; to wipe that smug attitude off your face. I also like a person who decides an offer is too low and won’t sell; if they have a friendly attitude. This guy did not.
* Brings John Cena
every time this "expert" comes in he claims the market has slowed down
Yup! And its booming right now.
Okay. So are you making an argument that it hasnt?
@@IronMaidenDoD Well the price of silver is rock bottom right now.
@@OmniBedlam youre making a totally different argument. This was filmed at a different time. You 2 would have to prove that the market was NOT slow at the time of negotiation.
@@IronMaidenDoD This was an interesting comment-thread argument I'm happy to put myself in the middle of.
Gotta say I love it when a seller doesn't has the balls to say no to Rick.
But he *did* say no.
Dude looks like a mix between Andrew Garfield and Robert Pattinson.
@Mi p more like Andrew Garfield and Nicolas cage
Never in my life would I trust an expert that a pawn shop owner brings in himself.
Fair but Rick has brought in experts that have valued items more than what the customer was looking for. If you're coming to a pawn shop expect to be lowballed and you should know market rate for the item you're selling.
E-X-A-C-T-L-Y. They're almost certainly in cahoots.
That guy was strange lol.
beautiful cutie I feel scared for the same reason that you all will call me creepy and strange
Calm and collected is now considered strange?
Naaa I don't blame him for walking out. Not everyone needs the money but it's rare they don't in pawn shops. He wanted a fair rate so it's all good. I have been selling , trading and buying for a long time and have a ton of repeat customers. I always get my price but on the same note, I make my items available where no one local can match the prices.
@@vodcc4463 He didn't even smile when he shook Rick's hand when meeting him and was almost dismissive of him. There is a difference between "calm and collected" and "cold and dispassionate." I'm pretty introverted and would say this guy was strange.
@@Jackaroo. . That's because Rick's hand feels like snakeskin..
I like how Rick brings the NGC guy to slightly down play the PCGS graded coin
Rick and the expert were excited about coin. I would have walked too. Was fun to watch. Great video
“Rick’s offer of $4500 is just bargain basement pricing.”
This guy must be new.
LOL
$4500 is actually on the high-end of its value.
Hello 👋 Do you collect coins?
Matthew The Great Coin Roll Hunter I stopped being a collector 25+ years ago. Been doing this professionally since 1995.
I have 2 coin like that but. The year is 1795
The coin expert looks and sounds like he could be the art guy (Brett's) brother lol
This is an insult to the scarface community
Not as bad as an insult to the pez community!!! Lmao!

That laugh never gets old•rickietirick
Rick (always): "The market is low, it'll take me a year to sell it, I'll have to get it framed/cleaned up/restore/graded. I take all the risk and you get cold, hard cash...."
NO! If you cleaned that coin, you will turn it from a $7000 beauty into a coin worth maybe $100 . DON'T clean that coin!
@@reynaldoflores4522 well yeah of course he was just saying the standard spiel the Rick says all the time hehe
Seller: I've got the cure for baldness...
Rick: $50.00 I won't go a penny more...
Also Rick: Am taking a chance here
Buddy, the best I can do is 50 bucks!!
Hmmm! Do you mind if i bring in an expert on baldness cures?☺

@@glipk i believe it's now a part of a wider internet culture, not just for chans only
I love when Rick doesn't get the chance to rip another person off. Great job not selling for $4500!
Anthony Claybourne you don’t understand how pawn shops work. Go to any pawnshop and see if they give you 70% value of the item, it won’t happen. It’s for people who need cash now. You don’t get top dollar selling to a reseller.
Screw the pawn shop for ripping people off.
@@thebigcheese606 a pawn shop doesn't rip people off, it's designed for fast cash. They don't care about the story of the object or what you feel. It's usually 60% off what it's worth. Then it's up to you to take or leave the offer. No ripping people off
Consider these pawn shop owners have national coverage and multiple galleries, large clientele. Money isn't a problem in the show, it's how they can tell the story with money remaining important.
Also pawn shops offer close to 30% what they could get. Go to a pawn shop and get 60% lol. I'd love to hear how a pawn shop overpaid on something legit.
When Rick calls his appraisal
Me: 2:30
🤣🤣
When Rick says let me call a friend of mine watch out he’s a pawn broker
4500 was an insult to the silver dollar coin community.
@Johnston Steiner r/woosh
Johnston Steiner you must be new here
The Pez community is also upset
Gabriel Sanchez not exactly. One just sold on heritage auction this year in the same grade for $4080. I will say that this coin would probably go for around 8000 due to the high eye appeal from the colorful toning on both sides.
I feel bad that no one got this joke
I don't know him but I'm proud of him for walking out
This coin guy's estimates are always spot on.
His hair looks like an inbuild bike helmet
eLmasten ok
No it doesn’t
Woah chill bro hahah
Omg 😆
Lmaoo
Let me bring in "a friend" who will lower the price you're asking for 😄
I believe the seller in this one, I suspect the $7k appraisal was lowball
It's setup majority of the time for low-ball offers. New when the expert comes in it'll be half the value
An ms64 sold for 18800. This was ms63. It's desirable. Happened in new orleans, famous for weak dies which means moreso the higher the grade the better the value. 4500 is literally less than 1/2 of what he could get. It's a coin that takes no space, just an ad. Glad he had offers more than 7k. Robbery. Show is Greedy on this and the bomb sight as well as some others. Those poor idiots. A couple hundred fine, a couple grand. Robbery.
He was giving the appraiser a weirded out look the whole time 👀
I don't blame him for walking away.
Yeah that's rick
"I don't want to sell it" Goes out and sells it
B not for a low ball price lol
That's exactly what he did. He only went there acting like he was going to sell to get a expert evaluation to sell it outside the shop, smart man.
lol for free of course don't sell it xD
APPARENTLY THE DUDE MUST BE BRAINDEAF DONT WANT TO SELL IT BUT GOES TO A PAWNSTORE TO SELL IT
Goodlookin Pawn Stars you guys put me up on a lot of game. I appreciate your videos.
At least someone had the guts to call his offer “bargain basement pricing”.
Bravo for not letting rick low ball him, well done. Half the people walk into that store would have taken 200 bucks.
Except it wasn't a lowball. Auction records show them going for almost exactly what he offered (4500) for the past few years in MS63 condition.

omg that was hilarious...thank you for making me laugh for 5 minutes straight..
Tou forget how rick says *sWeEt*
Love how rick rants on about the piece thinking the owner doesn't know anything 😂
Smart man, much respect given. 👍🙂
Ik it a show, but rick is smart he plays the business like a natural he learned the inside and out of the product and has it authenticated....he basically does that to the person when he negotiates he gets every bit of information and like to ask and make jokes about what people like to talk about and what they dont about there item its genius he authenticates the customers and items
It is all setup. I'm sure he knew it was coming in and did some research.
The expert says it's very collectable amongst error coin collectors and admits it's one of the more destruction desirable ones....Then plays his part to help Rick by saying the market has slowed in recent years...pops out a 7k evaluation. Dude was right to keep it. Could find a private buyer that might give him about 13k.
Guy just wanted a free appraisal, he wasn’t going to sell that 😂
Rick's laugh though
Rick with the classic lowball 😂 I actually posted a top 5 Rick Harrison purchases video, he’s a character for real lol
How did he lowball the customer? Didn't the customer highball Rick?
Splash with all your clickbait I don’t think anyone can tell which video that is
If he doesn’t low ball he would be terrible at having a pawn shop
Imagine walking into every pawn store that exists and the pawnshop owner has a long story to tell...😣
I love collecting the silver dollars all of them
Started stacking silver heavy but realized I liked coins with a good story more! It’s all about the ancients, shipwrecks, and Art Deco world coins.

Smart to hold onto it.
the expert quickly switched gears and kept trying to downplay it before giving a value. I wouldn't have taken the offer either.
The expert whose entire job is to DETERMINE THE VALUE OF RARE COINS na why would he understand the MARKET VALUE
There are several "experts" on Pawn Stars whose expertise is certainly questionable. David Vagi is NOT one of them.
Error coins aren't the easiest coins to appraise or predict the market for... the guy is legit.
He's one of the biggest crooks that's in cahoots with Rick and co
Safe to say that whenever you sell to a pawn shop, just expect to be lowballed 😆 Do you collect coins?
Smart Man “ don’t get LowBalled. This place are experts in doing that. Rick pays you $ 4,500 , he then sells it for $ 8,500 . Almost doubled.

What do people expect from a pawn shop!?
Jeff Mahoney everyone expects the pawn shop to pay top dollar apparently. Rick pays more than most pawn shops probably.
@@gotritons27 no he doesn't
Jeff there is a difference from someone who needs money to someone that does not and could care less if a items sells. With something like that with knowing what Rick does in calling in experts on valuable items, if I had a item that I could not find a fair price range on but I did not want to sell, I would take it in acting like I wanted to sell just to get a evaluation to turn over to a online sales broker if I did not have time to make more money than the pawn shop offer or I would market it myself. I am really good in marketing products but sometimes I don't have the time needed.
Ernest Ele you get 70% of an items value at a pawn shop? I doubt it.
