@Murtaza Kuxiani I've actually been to this store in Vegas. The reason several re-occuring people come in, is because they're ACTUAL customers. Everything on the show is being sold. I saw the Playboy cartoons that Corey bought in one of the cases. The reason they get such a variety of items: people can come in, and show someone an item they may like. If it's interesting, they tell the person to come back at a certain day (usually a couple days later) with the film crew.
I believe the offers and deals are real, but they seek out people with rare and interesting items to come on the show. Many of them have no real intention of selling the item to begin with.
It all depends on the current market for those coins, if they are in demand you could possibly sell it at 15k on an auction house easily but if they are not in demand you could sit on it forever trying to get that price. Best to do your own research and not bring valuables into a pawn shop in the first place.
I bought a Trade dollar for about $150-200, in xf condition at a coin shop with no chop marks, that dollar really isn't even worth much over $200-250, of course mine is not graded.

There was no good production, mining or people using the coin by then like now specially since the prices were so diferent then so a single of those gold coins were enough to feed a family for a months or even months. Aso sometimes coins got lost, damaged or melted in other coins since they were made with precious materials and it has been a thousand of yerars. The only reason the usa coin worth more is because it was made and be sold in usa at a important years for the usa history.

My God, A coin that the expert said he could get about $15,000.00 for he agrees to sell for only $8,000.00. That's a loss of $7,000.00. There is always a market for extremely rare and valuable coins. He may very well be able to get 15,000 if he sold it himself, but how long will it take for him to sell it? Where would he go? How many people would he have to see? You have someone with cash, ready and waiting for you, no need to wait around to sell it.
hammer price alone is 33%, pluse other costly stuff u need to do to look for the right seller, and dealing with this kind of money and item are dangerous sometimes, 8k is more than enough, ez money legit and tax free
If I’m taking the risk then I need to ensure I have a reasonable profit margin. If you have 2 people bidding on the coin at auction they could run it up over 20k if they really want it or there can be only one person that really wants it and it only goes up to 8k and after auction fees and your time going to the auction you lost a few grand. Some auctions don’t allow a reserve price. if you want quick cash you will almost never get close to what you want. If you want all the money try to sell it on line or at auction but you will be taking a risk, many auctions don’t let you have a reserve price. I’ve lost thousands at auctions and made thousands. If I paid full price like everyone wants I’d be broke. People have no idea the costs involved running a business and selling items.
