- TV feature story about historic Coney Island hot dog shop in downtown Tulsa. This Coney Island is a Tulsa Landmark and has changed locations. Most recently it is in the Arts District or Brady Area.
Coney Island Hot Weiners began in 1926 in the Tulsa World building in downtown Tulsa, Ok. Christ Economou came to the United States from Greece years earlier through Ellis Island.
This feature story is from Jack Frank, the producer of documentaries and TV stories about Tulsa and Oklahoma. His DVDs have been sold in QuikTrip Stores, Walgreens, Bank of Oklahoma, Arvest Bank, and Steve’s Sundries (old Tulsa bookstore) Now those DVDs, which make up the Tulsa History Series, are here:

what is the recipe!!!!???? me and my dad would always go here, a 2 hour drive just for hotdogs, we would get DOZENS of them at a time, after he passed away all i want is another hotdog

Yes. they are still open. Also Coney I-lander on 11th street is also a solid choice. Always quick and good
