Mercedes: Bosch, the end of era - Alternator AL69x and Battery S6 both failed after just 8 months

We tested both today and they are done. My idle current when key is removed is 0.07 Amps or 70 mA, which is well within in spec.
On the Battery we think that one cell is going bad.

Since Monarch regulators are NLA I found that Hitachi is making 14.5V regulators, got me one, made in India, will see how long it will last. You never mentioned the MB regulator that you also bought, was curious how it was performing.
