You guys realize all the hoopla about integrated rests cuts and pic rail cuts cost a manufacturer zero to do. Way over inflated options.
You should do the RVX against the form. The ugliness doesn't seem worth the cost for .3 lbs.
The audio does not do a dry fire justice...
This is much appreciated, I have been looking to upgrade my equipment and this helps with my sight set-up. Thanks!
Cool dudes but tough to take draw feel from someone who can’t draw a bow back. Regardless loves y’all’s videos and how you give all the bows fair and equal time
Yeah I cringe every time I see it.
The fact is whatever draw weight you desire, you must be able to make a perfect shot on the animal. Some get 80lbs because Fing Joe Rogan does. Not everyone is Joe Rogan or Cam Hanes. Focus should be on form and repeatability with every shot.
watching that dude draw a bow is painful
So the bow world is just as expensive as the gun world
James Hetfield?
Nice video, what happened with Zach?
Thank u JR for clarifying the perf/comfort mod up front! Keep up the great content!
Will that Hoyt work fine for someone who draws 26.5?
Who has the best warranty and best customer service? I am a 26.5 draw and need some speed to make up, from what i watched. So with that said woild either one be just fine for me uo to hunting elk?
What's the creek sound
500 is expensive wtf
My cheapest bow has been my most accurate bow. Wish I could have it back.
What was the let off %
It amazes me how every review focuses on speed tests. But the reviews barely speak about feel, cycle, how they hold and aim at full draw. Like the things that actually matters.
500 dollars is not cheap! Our ancestors used trees sticks and rocks to make their bows and with practice they were still able to feed themselves.
62# 30" draw 425grn ACC at 307fps from my darton spectra I'm good.
Always better to buy a few years old used flagship bow instead of a brand new “cheap bow”. Luckily for me I’m left handed so I usually buy flagship bows that sit on the shop and never got sold on clearance when the next’s year bow arrives.
Just go buy an axcel driver
Just get a darton consequence
Seems the BIG difference is the price, hoyt is quite a bit more expencive. Guy in prime shirt needs to learn how to draw a bow properly.?????
So you chrono a bow which is not tuned properly 73 lb 29 DRAW. Please when you do reviews 70 lb 30 inch draw. To get real speeds.??
7 feet a second WOW thats game changer. With a more aggresive draw no doubt.??
To be honest I'm good not having either I'm perfectly fine with my 500 bow. The meat tastes the same.
To adjust the draw length but stay at what letoff you want you can also play with the cables, but depending on which way you go it'll either give you more valley or take it away, plus with lower letoff you will generally have a cleaner release and more consistent shot to shot speed consistency.
That is one of the big advantages of the binary cams
Why would a dry fire change the brace or ata..that make no sense lol
Cuz looks definitely make all the difference when it comes to filling tags
Question for the chat. I'm looking to get into hunting for food and I'm considering a bow. I have some experience in archery. I don't have a large budget. Is it worth getting the budget option? I will be hunting deer and wild boar.
Love my HBC flex hinge! I use it all with my target set up.
So apparently Joe Turner is taking the whole design for this and it's meant for a like two-stage trigger you push it to the click and then you just keep working your shot Until It Breaks they're saying by pulling on a release it affects the hand and the position of the body I did see a little bit of Grunt and you right there in your face but they're saying it's good to be shot like a rifle
Great satire on “form”
Imagine how good it would feel if you actually drew it correctly!?!?
Knot
I wouldn't care if my bow was pink and had barbie tassels hanging off the cams...if it kills animals, WTF cares what it looks like??🤦💯🤣
Can you redo this with them set at 80 pounds???
Have never worked on one of these. How would you say these compare to the regular plastic shims on pretty much everything else?
Zack and I are basically best buddies after our phone call so I had to come help the algorithm and check out that awesome draw😉😂😂
Put it on a spine tester. There is a spine. Were sick of easton pretending it doesnt matter. The axis could shift paper tears a whole inch by rotating knocks.
I will tomorrow but every Easton I have put on a tester there is no spine.
This moves on me, I have to cinch it down each wrap with a double overhand
It says on the website to fill in the length to cut the arrows but doesn’t give me the box to enter arrow length
Use the order notes section at checkout to put in the specified length that you would like the arrows cut. Make sure to measure from carbon to carbon and let us know if you’d like your inserts glued.
@ ok. Thank you
It's crazy how the new fad on drawing a bow is having a high elbow and any other way is just absolutely wrong. I draw just like this guy because it's the only way my shoulder doesn't hurt.
This is exactly why Zack draws this way due to prior shoulder injuries.
@@extremeoutfitters same for me, I used to shoot so much every day that I injured my shoulder and had to start keeping my elbow low and tight to my chest
No doubt both are good bows. But one is at the excellent end of good and one is between the bottom and middle of good. That Hoyt has it all going for it in every category over the Prime. The performance regardless of draw length is undeniable and carries far more value than "feel". Aesthetically there is no real comparison, Hoyt all day. Will have to ding the Hoyt for price though, it is ridiculously expensive. But again, both are good bows, and kudos to Prime for going outside the box in its thinking and approach, that can not go unappreciated.
How is the Form, a flagship bow that runs $1600, "between the bottom and middle of good"? I shot ALL of the new flagships this year back to back to back. The Prime, Darton, & Expedition felt the best to me, with the Hoyt, Mathews, & Elite coming in behind them.
@@jayminer9416 because feel is subjective and vastly overrated. I am not knocking the Prime, its just aesthetically subjective and its slower considerably than the Hoyt and Mathews offerings when everything is equal. Doesn't make it bad, its just not as good as. Still a good bow no doubt! I shoot a lot of bows every year. I don't base my opinions or points of view on 5 yards of shooting in a shop based on a "feel". What numbers does it put, how does it aim and hold at distance, how quiet is it. All factors that actually matter in a hunting bow to me. This year I have the Mathews and Hoyt aluminum bows ahead of everyone else slightly, with the edge to Mathews, followed by Darton and Elite with an edge to Darton (based only on tuning features), then a toss up between Bowtech and Prime, then PSE, then Obsession/Martin/Bear, then Xpedition (based entirely on them overpricing themselves comparatively). The bottom line, no really bad bows, all are good, all will punch tags, and its a great time to be a bowhunter.
@ The Prime for me shooting 70/29"/425-430gr is getting 284-288fps for me on average. The draw felt better for me, yes the Hoyt was nice it just didnt feel like it wanted to be in my hand. The Darton came in a CLOSE 2nd, had a nicer draw but didnt hold as well. Then came Mathews, Hoyt, Bowtech, and Elite for me. The Artus was heavy. I love this stuff man, it really is a great time to be into archery.
prüfen in Germanistan means looking for mistakes..
“The Proof”
All day!
Look up pictures of Hoyt carbon bows like RX3, Matrix, and what not.. Often times the carbon-parts need to be joined together with the aluminium-parts.. This is the good, old way - it is normal - and you all know it.. Hoyt puts a color over the finished bow, so you can not see the joints.. Why do people hava a problem with that?
Do yall have 300 spine/dozen bare shafts in stock?
We’ve only got them fletched with the AAEs currently in a 300 spine. Bare shafts should be in soon
They are in stock now!
@@jroutdooradventures sweet! I'll be up there tomorrow
Pull the string leech’s off Cut the rubber silencers off limbs Remove the rubber pieces from inside of limbs You will be over 400 fps after that Shoot a heavier bolt like 500 grains You will get the best performance out of that crossbow I recommend getting a custom string and swap out the scope I want crosshairs not a circle
