You'd think that the developers would think of that, but it looks like they had mental diarrhea and couldn't get their head out in time to avoid brain damage and a brown ring on their neck, and the residual methane fumes caused a sleepy Joe moment and they ran with "sacrifice all your masks for something that only*might* work for you. Yeesh. They really should have taken a few hours from watching their lunch digest.
I don't think fusing all the masks would make sense as the priests were different persons, but maybe give you a major buff to shouts, magic or magic resist when you had all of them in the inventory or if you put them in a place like the one in the video. But there are a LOT of unfinished quests in base Skyrim that they never addressed. Thanks to the community, some of them got finished.
Whaaat? I never cared much for those masks as I don't like wearing them, but it's incredible how after 13 years I still keep finding things I never saw in Skyrim.

If you Have the anniversary version get the tundra homestead and place the masks on the stand in there once you've collected all of them. Looks cool and also the dragon claws too
You know that you can take back all the other masks after collecting Konahrik and before you take of the wooden mask, right? You don't have to leave them in this parallel dimension room...
After countless hours of questing...a mask that's basically the same as all the others (but with tusks.....wow), and the altar just pops open like a coke bottle to reveal it? No room shaking, no music, no special encounter, no final boss? Collecting a basic dragon soul is more dramatic than this!

Before going to Masks Shrine? Barrow at Arin's Shame/Labrinthian Arch Mage quest, or Bequested by Arch Mage Arin (Who would have Possibly gone with You if He n Marybel did'nt snuff it. )
thats disappointing as hell you lose like all your mask just to get one that has a "chance'' at giving you health and damaging enemies, as well as no boss fight this game needs a remastered and where you can go back in time from anywhere with the wooden mask and that way you can mess with the timeline kind stuff
Disappointing indeed, but you don't lose the masks, once you get the last one you can go back there and retrieve all your masks, they don't have to stay there :D
I got a great idea: how about Konahriik gets an OP ability which combines the abilities of the previous masks while having it's own ability on top of that. However, the catch is: he's the most powerful boss in the entire game. Easily surpassing Karstaag and the Ebony Warrior. Of course, at that point in the game, it'd be useless.
You know once you pick up Konahrik from the center Dragon pedestal, keep the Wooden mask on and you can recollect the other masks for your collection. There's a total of 13 masks 10 in Skyrim and 3 in Solsthiem. Once collected you can place them in your trophy room in the Anniversary Homes.
I never finished these quests, because I simply forgot it existed during gameplay after collecting 4 or 5 masks. I at least would have hoped that you can talk to those dragon priests ghosts or something like that Very underwhelming
Really? Just like that? I expected that when you collected the mask, it magically disappeared in your hands, before you get warped to an area in Sovengarde (don’t know how to spell it, sorry) not possible to access conventionally and encounter the Dragon Priest who owns it. It would have to be a super boss, since it governs the other priests and anticipates the Dovahkiin’s arrival before testing them in a battle. After beating it, it proclaims you worthy and not only gives you the mask (which now has a chance to heal via kill regardless of how much health you have left), but the room you got sent back too is now filled with treasure. It’s just my opinion, tbh, but it’s what I wished it would have happened.
The Questions Are; Can You Take the Masks back once You get the heavy armour Boss mask, because I have between 7 & 12 Houses that have these Mask's displays? And I don't Remember that chest. Pointless kit if Heavy cos I'm a Hornet (butterflies don't 'Sting') n Light's right...
In one playthrough I equipped a follower with one of the masks. He fell down the side of a mountain and I never found him 😂. I had completed it before so I finished the playthrough but it definitely bothered me. So don't give them to followers is the lesson.

@@dogeatsthesun908 I mean, it's made out of bones you ain't gonna shape it like glass, ebony or any steel. Doesn't make any sense. If it was a game focused solely on dragon armors, and there was no other option (no steel, iron, ebony etc.) then obviously you would get different variants, ranging from crude and sturdy looking to detailed, elegant ones. @@caiusactinunwise1412 I disagree. It's a game. You can draw everything you can imagine. And Skyrim is not very realistic game tbh. And making fancy glass armor is way harder than dragon bone armor imo. @@dogeatsthesun908 That's a fair point, but then every single thing could be over the top, beautifully shaped and ornamented, and in result nothing would stand out, it would simply be noisy. @@caiusactinunwise1412 I've read it) My only complaint is that the armor that is not the strongest looks better and is more detailed than the objectively strongest armor.
